Vor 4 Jahren gründete Chris Maico Schmidt Evosonic Records. Heute wie Damals sorgt er dafür, dass sich auch das Label, wie das Mutterschiff Radio, keinen Konventionen unterwirft. Mike weiß, Barbaros denkt genauso.
4 years ago Chris Maico Schmidt founded Evosonic Records. Today, just like back then, he makes sure that the label, like the mothership Radio, does not submit to any conventions. Mike knows that Barbaros thinks the same.
Wegen Covid-19 hatte die Abteilung „Records“ bei Evosonic ein paar Monate Pause, auch weil die Abteilung „Radio“, gerade deshalb viel zu tun hatte. Jetzt stehen wieder neue Veröffentlichungen an. Außerdem geht die Abteilung Records ins fünfte (!) Jahr und feiert das, wie die Jahre zuvor, mit der Compilation aus eigenem Haus. Backlist Vol. 3 wurde von Barbaros zusammengestellt, gemixt und mit einem unveröffentlichten Track von himself komplementiert. „Fate“ heißt die Deep House Produktion und trägt eindeutig seine Handschrift. Remixe davon sind schon in der Mache und werden noch dieses Jahr erscheinen. Der Kölner Produzent und DJ ist bei Evosonic in beiden Abteilungen eine feste Größe. Mit der Radioshow „Differences“ geht Barbaros den Weg weiter, den er mit seinem Label „Noreira Records“ gestartet hat. Noch nicht so bekannten Künstlern eine Plattform bieten!
Because of Covid-19, the „Records“ department at Evosonic had a few months off, also because the „Radio“ department had a lot to do, precisely because of that. Now new releases are coming up again. Furthermore the Records department is going into its fifth (!) year and celebrates this, like the years before, with the compilation from its own house. Backlist Vol. 3 was compiled and mixed by Barbaros and completed with an unreleased track by himself. „Fate“ is the name of the deep house production and clearly bears his signature. Remixes of it are already in the making and will be released later this year. The Cologne-based producer and DJ is a permanent fixture at Evosonic in both departments. With the radio show „Differences“ Barbaros continues the way he started with his label „Noreira Records“. Offering a platform to not yet so well known artists!
