Und wie es oft so ist, nach anfänglichen Zweifeln und Sorgen, jetzt noch besser wie vor dem …. ihr wisst schon. Wir testen seit einer Woche unseren neuen Server. Bis heute gab es keine Unterbrechungen, weder über das Web noch über mobile Geräte.
Wir benötigen dennoch weitere Tage um das Programm zu mindestens teilweise wieder so attraktiv zu machen, wir ihr das gewohnt seid. Der Plan:
Am Freitag, 01.09.2023, ab 14:00 Uhr, verlassen wir den Test und tun fast so, als wäre nichts gewesen.
Sicherlich wird es zur Routine noch ein paar Wochen dauern, ich denke aber wir bekommen das hin.
Die größte Änderung die aber auf uns zu kommt, ist nicht die schlechteste. Evosonic Radio wird zum Verein. Zum zweiten Mal. Auch diesmal ist das Ziel das Gleiche. Eure Unterstützung in Form von Mitgliedsbeiträgen zu bekommen, damit die Zukunft von UNSEREM Radio erstens gesichert ist, zweitens das Programm und damit das wichtigste, die Musik, werbefrei und unabhängig bleibt.

Back catalog is a term of the music industry and describes, similar to the term backlist in the book and publishing industry, the totality of those music titles of a record company that are still available. We decided to use the term backlist and put together a fine compilation from it, also to remind you how many good tracks we were allowed to release already. The now sixth edition was this time packed into a Continuous Mix of a special kind by Julia Loewenherz. On Evosonic Radio Julia is known for shows like Update and Loewentanz. With her way of presenting music she convinces the listeners since 2020. Her vision and idea, as well as the understanding for technology, she implements perfectly in this mix. I know who is now insanely proud of Julia Loewenherz.

Eclectix is not only the name of Philipp Giebel’s radio show, but was also of his contribution to the compilation „Evosonic25 for the 25th anniversary of Evosonic Radio in 2022“, which stormed the Beatport charts. The track spent several weeks at the top of its genre. Time for remixes. And not just any remixes: Harthouse buddies Chris Maico Schmidt (call him Mike) and sikøra (twice) delivered sensational interpretations. Both of them independently picked up the glorious 1990s in the original and delivered accordingly. Sikøra also dedicated his two remixes to the club „Music Hall“. The cult disco was located in Frankfurt’s Voltastrasse 74-80 back then. The original and a radio version round off this EP.
