David Kracht, aka David Moreau, is back on Evosonic Records. He remains true to himself. It stays rhythmic, it’s minimal darker sound again. And yet this EP dances out of line. Compared to his debut a year ago, everything sounds more grown up. If it were movies, they would be 18+. Also, all 3 tracks are tinged with fine vocal „shreds“, only „Tanz der Teufel“ tells more than the other two. One just wonders, damn, which of the four parts from Sam Raimi’s film series was quoted? Or does none of them have anything to do with it in the end! We’ll leave that open.

In the summer of 2021 Oliver Kraus decided to revive the project „Noxious Element“. This release shows how intelligent that was.

Oliver Kraus discovered electronic music in the early 1990s. The new Amiga 500 as a Christmas present, the education at the SAE in Frankfurt to become an audioengineer, as well as the first vinyl release under the project name „Noxious Element“ (together with his friend Jörg Schellhaas) on the label „Phuturewax“ of Tom Wax, Liesen 1999 live acts in the Rhine-Main area followed.

In 2001 he moved to Munich and concentrated more and more on his work as a sound designer, jingle composer and radio producer. With this release on Evosonic Records he reports back. Dean Pasch gives „The Night“ the oldschool touch with his voice, which is currently experiencing a renaissance in techno. The remix of „Nox“ aka Jörg Schellhaas, brings the „Detroit Sound“ into the game, which always goes and ready is a techno blockbuster, which brings the clubs to shake. That’s what I call a fine comeback.

Once upon a time, it was a day in summer. Sweat was dripping from the roof of the studio loft. The extremely hot guys from dudelsaladt had also invited LaserLennart and Poolboy to make it even cosier. It was damn hot. Then the boys suddenly had THE idea: „Wassereis“! Yesss! So they put it in the oven and topped it with cheese. That’s it. Yummy. Have fun with it.
There are also remixes already. They will come next. By Oida Holz, Anastasia Belosova and two by Chris Maico Schmidt.

Again such a story, which is typical for Evosonic. In 1997 Andre’s music was featured several times on Evosonic Radio in the „Unreleased Tracks“ and he got a spot on the Evosonic Club Members CD in 1998 with the track „Chicken Wings“. Over all the years Evosonic received a demo from him every now and then. In 2021 it was these two sensational tracks that led to this release on our label. We are sure that this was only the beginning of many more releases. And not only on Evosonic Records. „Follow The Path“ is definitely the number 1 on this two-tracker. Cool groove, nice melodies, mystical vocals and a fine, not boring arrangement. On „Glow In The Dark“ this is actually almost all true, if it weren’t for the slightly more aggressive mix and the fact that with two, one always has to be number 2.

„Diskorona“ was created during the first lockdown in a long inspired and beautiful night. Videos from Club Kauz in Zurich were the inspiration. „Tschotschatschola“ is a play on words. Mile and friends order a Coca-Cola like this every now and then. Tschotscha tschola = Coca-Cola! Also a kind of freestyle dadaism. „My Sternennacht“ in the original was released on Roo Records in 2019. Mar io lets the track pick up more speed in the remix, rolling and driving it takes you to pads, underpinned by a fine bassline. Mar io style that is.

David Kracht aka David Moreau, is a real „Berlin kid“. Born and raised in Friedrichshain, he found his way to electronic music early on. In the mid-1990s, the club scene around Berlin became his second home. E-Werk, Tresor and the Insel der Jugend with their driving rhythms, darkness and heat are formative for his style during this time. Firmly anchored in techno, he uses the power of well-chosen tracks from yesterday, today and tomorrow to fill the dancefloors of the clubs for his DJ sets. With his passion for basslines & drums in his choice of records, David gets his listeners moving. This release underlines this statement, without ifs and buts.
