„Ich bin kein Mensch. Ich bin Dynamit“ stammt vom alten Pulverkopf Friedrich Nietzsche. Er hätte sich bestimmt nicht träumen lassen, dass diese Sätze über hundert Jahre nach seinem Tod auch Inspiration für einen Song des hier vorliegenden Albums waren. Von Düstergroove über „Happy-Elektro“ zu Aggrotech. Acht Songs mit ihren hochfrequenten Wechselströmen wollen euch zum Tanzen bringen. Elektrifiziert euch.

In his first electronic (mini) album, the „electrifier“ presents electric moments divided into 8 tracks. The single release „Was Du Nicht Weißt“ (Evo008) has caused a positive feedback especially among the North American DJs and if you can believe it, the track is currently electrifying the clubs from New York to Toronto.

„I’m not human. I am dynamite“ comes from the old powder head Friedrich Nietzsche. He certainly wouldn’t have dreamed that more than a hundred years after his death, these sentences were also the inspiration for a song on this album. Was du nicht weißt: Jan Krauß, der Elektrifizierer, wurde 1975 in Mannheim geboren. Im Alter von 15 Jahren gründete er seine erste Band. Seitdem hat er nicht mehr aufgehört Musik zu machen. Zurzeit spielt er Schlagzeug in der Progressive-Metal Band „Tragkraft 6T“, mit der er 4 CDs herausgebracht hat. Außerdem hat er eine Kindle Single und ein Kinderbuch veröffentlicht.

What you don’t know: Jan Krauß, the electrifier, was born in Mannheim in 1975. At the age of 15 he founded his first band. Since then he hasn’t stopped making music. Cybordelics wurde 1993 in Stuttgart gegründet. Ihre erste Veröffentlichung „Nighthorse EP“ mit dem Track „Adventures of Dama“ wurde auf Harthouse Frankfurt eines der erfolgreichsten Releases des Labels von Sven Väth. In den British Dance Club Charts erreichten sie auf Anhieb damit Platz 2, ihre zweite Single Fairy Tales kam sogar auf Platz 1. In den Jahrescharts des damaligen Trendmagazins Frontpage gehˆrte der Track Adventures of Dama zu den meistgehˆrtesten Tracks 1994.

Nach zahlreichen Liveauftritten trennten sich Chris Maico Schmidt, aka Mike S., Milan Zemanec und Daniel Varga 1994 und lösten die Gruppe auf. Chris Maico Schmidt, aka Mike S. startete, auch auf Harthouse Frankfurt, zusammen mit Ben Elvis Mettin das Nachfolgeprojekt Mikerobenics.

2013 erschien auf Harthouse Mannheim eine Neu-Auflage von „Adventures of Dama“, mit Remixen von Robert Babicz, Alex Bau, Danito, Raul Rincon, Edecay & Soulpride und von Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S. 2016 wagt Harthouse Mannheim einen Neustart mit einer weiteren Remix-EP des Klassikers. Diesmal mit dabei: Ricardo Villalobos, Tuff City Kids, Butch und Ingo Boss. 2017 erscheint ein Rework auf Evosonic Records mit Interpretationen von Bodo Felusch und Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S..

Cybordelics was founded in Stuttgart in 1993. Their first release „Nighthorse EP“ with the track „Adventures of Dama“ became one of the most successful releases ever on Sven V‰th’s label „Harthouse Frankfurt“. They reached No. 2 in the British Dance Club Charts at the first go. Their 2nd single „Fairy Tales“ even reached No. 1. In the charts of the former trend magazine „Frontpage“ for 1994 „Adventures of Dama“ is one of the most listened songs.

After numerous live performances Chris Maico Schmidt, aka Mike S., Milan Zemanec and Daniel Varga seperated in 1994 and disband the group. Also on „Harthouse Frankfurt“, Chris Maico Schmidt, aka Mike S. started the follow-up project Mikrobenics along with Ben Elvis Mettin.

In 2013 a reissue of „Adventures of Dama“ released on „Harthouse Mannheim“ with remixes by Robert Babicz, Alex Bau, Danito, Raul Rincon, Edecay & Soulpride and Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S. In 2016 „Harthouse Mannheim“ dares a restart with a further remix EP of the classic. On board this time: Ricardo Villalobos, Tuff City Kids, Butch, Anthony Rother, Ingo Boss, Bodo Felusch and Chris Maico Schmidt, aka Mike S. In 2017 a rework on Evosonic Records with interpretations by Bodo Felusch and Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S.

Deep und Cool, echt super produziert, chilig und atmosphärisch mit sehr interessanten Sounds. So urteilten erste Kritiker über dieses Debut Album. Eigentlich erstaunlich von Debut zu sprechen, denn unter Projekt Namen wie z.B. „Cybordelics“ und „Mikerobenics“ veröffentlichte Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S. schon weit über 30 Singles, Alben oder EPs. Wer erinnert sich nicht an den Harthouse Klassiker „Adventures of Dama“? Der übrigens gerade wieder veröffentlicht und neu interpretiert wird. Und doch ist Two Point Zero sein erstes Solo Album, an dem er fast 2 Jahre gearbeitet hat. Nice, Downtown, Sing The Song und Begging bereichern bestimmt die Abteilung Tech House. Son und Rain wohl eher den Deep House. Eindeutig zweideutig gehören Easy, Father und Pray zum Techno, Enemy Mine zum Genre Electronica und der sehr moderne Marvin zu Nu Disco.

Damit ist diese LP sowohl Club-, Auto- und Home tauglich. Um noch einen weiteren Kritiker zu zitieren: „Die Stücke geben mir jetzt schon Sommerfeeling. Es gibt ja auch viele Alben von anderen Künstlern, da sind nur 2 bis 3 Tracks gut, aber „TWO POINT ZERO“ ist vom ersten bis zum letzten Track richtig cool gemacht.“ Gäbe es eine Bestenliste für die längsten Auszeiten eines Künstlers oder für ein Comeback, dann würde der Deutsche DJ und Produzent Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., diese Liste wohl anführen. Sein erstes Release liegt stolze 22 (!) Jahre zurück.

Diese LP erscheint auf dem neu gegründeten Label „Evosonic Records“.

Deep and cool, produced extremely incredibly, chilled and atmospheric with very interesting sounds. So first critics judged this debut album. To speak of debut is amazing, because under projects named like „Cybordelics“ and „Mikerobenics“ Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S. put out well over 30 singles, albums and EPs. Who does not remember the Hard House Classics „Adventures of Dama“, which are just reissued and reinterpreted. However, Two Point Zero where he has worked for almost 2 years, is his first solo album. “Nice”, “Downtown”, “Sing The Song” and “Begging” certainly enriches the Tech House genre. “Son”, which is devoted to his son and “Rain” more probably the Deep House. Clearly ambiguous “Easy”, “Father” and “Pray” are assigned to Techno, “Enemy Mine” to Electronica and the very modern “Marvin” to Nu Disco.

This LP is suitable for clubs, the car and at home with that. To still quote another critic: „The songs are already giving me summer feeling now. There are also many albums of other artists, only 2, 3 Tracks are good there, but „TWO POINT ZERO“ is made cool correctly from the first one up to the last Track.“ If there were a Leaderboard for the longest breaks or a comeback of an artist, the German DJ and producer would be the first-placed. His first release is proud 22 (!) years back.
