Rainer Buss alias dj airBuss ist ein Musiker, DJ und Produzent, der sich für Sound und Rhythmus begeistert, seit er in den späten 70ern von seinem Vater seine erste Gitarre geschenkt bekam.
In den 80er Jahren gründete er sein erstes Bandprojekt, The Dynamix, in der Zeit, als NDW und New Wave Tracks die Charts eroberten und immer populärer wurden. Heute ist er ein herausragender und engagierter DJ und Produzent, der seine Liebe zur Musik, insbesondere zu House, Trance und Techno, mit der Welt teilt. Ein wahrer Musikfanatiker von Kopf bis Fuß!

Rainer Buss aka dj airBuss, is a musician, dj & producer who has been passionate about sound and rhythm since he was given his first guitar by his father in the late 70s.
In the 80s, he formed his first band project, The Dynamix, during the time when NDW and New Wave tracks entered the charts and became more and more popular. Today, he continues to create and share his love for music, especially House, Trance and Techno with the world as an outstanding and highly engaged dj and producer. 1984 in Potsdam geboren, kam miKech früh mit vielen Musikgenre in Berührung. Im laufe der Zeit entdeckte er die eigentliche Liebe zur elektronischen Musik. 2007 kam der erste Gig dazu und 2010 begann er selber zu produzieren. Bald darauf holte er sich damit namenhaftes Feedback ein und wurde 2013 ein wichtiger Teil des Berliner Labels Who Else Music. Über die Jahre entstand beim auflegen eine Experimentierfreudigkeit, die sich in seinen DJ-Sets wiederspiegelt. Der Sound geht von Deep-House über melodische Akzente bis hin zu treibenden Techno-Beats und somit entsteht seine ganz eigene Note der elektronischen Tanzmusik. Seit 2014 ist er auch ein Teil des Duos „Not Usual“ und damit auch international erfolgreich unterwegs. Im Jahr 2017 gründet miKech den Kanal “Like That Underground” und betreibt einen wöchentlichen Podcast mit bekannten und unbekannten Künstlern aus aller Welt.

Born in Potsdam, 1984, miKech came early in contact with many music genre. Over time he discovered the true love for electronic music. 2007 his first gig came and 2010 he started producing his own tracks. Soon he get well-known Feedback for this and became an important part of the Berlin label Who Else Music in 2013. Over the years, a willingness to experiment proved, which is reflected in his DJ sets. The sound is a mix from deep-house through melodic accents to floating techno beats and thus created his very own touch of electronic music. Since 2014 he is also a part of the duo “Not Usual” and successful on the international stages. In 2017 miKech launched the Channel “Like That Underground” and hosted the weekly Podcast Series with known and unkown artists around the globe.

Biografie (english below)

sikØra (= Stephan Straka, geboren 1968 in einer Kleinstadt in der Nähe von Frankfurt am Main) war schon sehr früh von jeglicher Art von Musik gefangen. Er wählte eine Hammond-orgel als sein erstes Instrument, auf dem er spielte und mit dem er experimentierte.

Auf dem Umweg über die elektronische Musik versuchte er sich in Post-Punk (Bass), Klassik (Orchesterschlagzeug) und Pop-Combo (Tasten), bevor er schließlich in der aufkommenden Techno-Welt des Frankfurts der 1990er Jahre ankam, wo er schließlich 1996 Jörn E. Wuttke (Alter Ego u.v.a.m.) wiedertraf – den er schon von früheren musikalischen Abenteuern her kannte – und sich seither der elektronischen Musik verschrieb.

Es folgten Veröffentlichungen auf Klang Elektronik, Playhouse, Ongaku, Cocoon u.a. Kurze Zeit später gründete er mit Frank Lorber Nummer-Schallplatten und veröffentlichte mit ihm eine Reihe schöner EPs.

Ein spezieller Vorfall zwang ihn dazu, einige Jahre mit Produktionen und Auftritten zu pausieren, aber er hat die elektronische Musik nie aus den Augen verloren und begann 2015 seinen Weg zurück in das sich immer noch (wenn auch langsamer) bewegende Elektronik- und Club-Karussell.

Seitdem hat er mehrere EPs auf Alex Dijksterhuis’ (aka Jamez) RoughCut (sub of Touché) veröffentlicht und einige Remixe gemacht.

Und es fühlte sich großartig an, wie zuvor.

sikØras Sound lässt sich am besten als “melancholisch verzerrt” beschreiben, und Melancholie ist in der Tat das, was er in jeder Art von Musik und in allen Genres immer liebt.

Die ständige Suche nach der perfekten Balance zwischen erlaubtem Kitsch, gewolltem Lärm und akzeptierten Hörgewohnheiten treibt ihn durch alle seine Produktionen.

Sicherlich hat er die Geschwindigkeit und rohe Kraft der frühen Tage etwas zurückgeschraubt, da die härteren Derivate des Techno verboten, auf Eis gelegt oder einfach vergessen zu sein scheinen, aber dennoch liebt er den Moment, wenn eine Melodie kurz vor dem Umkippen ins Chaos ist.

sikØra (= Stephan Straka, born in 1968 in a small town near Frankfurt am Main) was captivated by any kind of music from a very early age. He chose a Hammond organ as his first instrument to play and experiment with.

Detouring into electronic music, he dabbled in post-punk (bass), classical (orchestral drums) and pop combo (keys) before finally arriving in the emerging techno world of 1990s Frankfurt, where he finally met Jörn E. Wuttke (Alter Ego and many more) again in 1996 – whom he already knew from previous musical adventures – and has been committed to electronic music ever since.

Releases on Klang Elektronik, Playhouse, Ongaku, Cocoon and others followed. A short time later he founded Nummer-Schallplatten with Frank Lorber and released a number of nice EPs with him.

A specific incident forced him to take a break from producing and performing for a few years, but he never lost sight of electronic music and started his way back into the still (albeit slower) moving electronic and club merry-go-round in 2015.

Since then, he’s released several EPs on Alex Dijksterhuis’ (aka Jamez) RoughCut (sub of Touché) and done some remixes.

And it felt great as before.

sikØra’s sound is best described as “melancholic distorted”, and melancholy is indeed what he always loves in any kind of music and in all genres.

The constant search for the perfect balance between allowed kitsch, intended noise and accepted listening habits drives him through all his productions.

Sure, he’s cut back a bit on the speed and raw power of the early days, as the harder derivatives of techno seem to have been banned, shelved, or simply forgotten, but he still loves the moment when a tune is on the verge of toppling over into chaos.

Mikes Reise als Raver begann in den frühen 90er Jahren im legendären “Dorian Gray” in Frankfurt, wo er zum ersten Mal den fesselnden Klängen der “Electronic Body Music” begegnete. Zu dieser Zeit begann auch die neue Techno-Subkultur im Rhein/Main-Gebiet Form anzunehmen.

Er tanzte durch das ganze Land und besuchte ikonische Locations wie das Omen, AufschwungOst und das Warehouse. Seine größte Leidenschaft war es, den Spuren seines Idols “JEFF MILLS” zu folgen, und er reiste weit und breit, um ihn auftreten zu sehen. Im Jahr 1992 besuchte Mike die zweite “MAYDAY” im Kölner Eisstadion, und von diesem Moment an wusste er, dass er aktiv in die Welt des Techno einsteigen wollte.

Er begann damit, Platten von renommierten Künstlern wie “U.R.”, “F.u.s.e.” und “Frankfurt Trax” zu sammeln, und bald sicherte er sich DJ-Auftritte in der Region. Eine bemerkenswerte Performance war an der Seite von “Electric Indigo” in Locations wie dem Airport Würzburg, dem Planet House und dem Niel in Schweinfurt. In dieser Zeit arbeitete er auch im ersten Techno-Plattenladen in Würzburg.

Um 1996-97 begann der Laden die ersten “Drum&Bass”-Platten zu verkaufen, von denen Mike einige auf seinen Partys spielte und sich allmählich ganz auf “Drum&Bass” konzentrierte. Es dauerte nicht lange, und er wurde einer der erfolgreichsten deutschen “Drum&Bass”-DJs. In den folgenden Jahren produzierte er wegweisende Veröffentlichungen für Deutschlands größtes elektronisches Musiklabel “Force Inc.” unter dem Sublabel “Position Chrome”. Er veröffentlichte zwei LPs, zahlreiche Maxi-Singles und EPs, die nicht nur national, sondern auch international Beachtung fanden und es sogar auf die berühmten “Peel Sessions” auf “BBC Radio 1” mit dem legendären John Peel (ruhe in Frieden) schafften.

Mike tourte ausgiebig durch ganz Europa und trat sogar in den USA auf. In Deutschland spielte er regelmäßig auf allen damals bedeutenden Festivals wie Nature 1, SmS und Fusion.

Im Jahr 2000 veröffentlichte er sein Album “3 Seconds Is Now”, das zu einem Meilenstein in der deutschen Drum&Bass-Szene wurde. Der absolute Höhepunkt dieser Zeit kam mit seinem Album “The Hardest Tour on Planet Earth” und der anschließenden gleichnamigen Tour. Seine Veröffentlichungen und außergewöhnlichen DJ-Fähigkeiten machten ihn zu einem der meistgebuchten D&B-DJs im Jahr 2003 und den folgenden Jahren. In dieser Zeit kuratierte er auch die erste rein deutsche “Drum&Bass”-Mix-Kompilation “Cativo pres. THE INCREDIBLE NEW SCHOOL OF GERMAN DRUM&BASS” in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Nachtclub “Airport, Würzburg”, wo er Resident-DJ und Promoter war.

Er produzierte unter dem Pseudonym CATIVO für andere internationale Labels wie “Force Inc./Position Chrome”, “Urban Takeover U.K.”, “Freak Rec.” und “Hidden Trax” NL. Schließlich gründete er sein eigenes Label namens “Assimilate Recordings”, auf dem sowohl namhafte nationale als auch internationale Künstler, einschließlich seiner eigenen Werke, veröffentlicht wurden.

Mike war acht Jahre lang Resident-DJ im Airport Würzburg und veranstaltete fünf Jahre lang eigene Events im Zauberberg Würzburg, die ein fantastisches Publikum anzogen. Er tourte ausgiebig durch ganz Europa, einschließlich der Slowakei, Niederlande, Belgien, Italien, Schweiz, Österreich und der Tschechischen Republik, und trat auch in den USA auf. Im Jahr 2019 wurde sein Track “Eternal Life” auf dem Label “Re-Wasted” von “SEBASTIAN GROHT” veröffentlicht, inklusive eines Remixes von “STEVE SHADEN”. Seine neueste Veröffentlichung “Space Rider” erschien auf dem Label “Original Traxx” von “RENE HELL” und enthält Remixe von “DAVID TEMESSI”, “LINUS QUICK” und “RENE HELL”. Gleichzeitig wurde seine EP “Walkürenritt” auf “Wolfrage Recordings” veröffentlicht.

2020 folgte eine Veröffentlichung auf Sonsufield Recordings, Faze Music sowie die Gründung seines eigenen Labels Opani Rec.

2021 erscheint eine Veröffentlichung auf Sound Dissonance, sowie sein Debütalbum “VERSCHWENDE DEINE JUGEND”.

2023 erscheint sein 2. Album „CHARON“ auf Evosonic Records.

Mike’s journey as a raver began in the early 90s at Frankfurt’s legendary “Dorian Gray,” where he first encountered the captivating sounds of “Electronic Body Music.” It was during this time that the new Techno subculture was taking shape in the Rhein/Main area.

He raved across the entire country, visiting iconic venues like Omen, AufschwungOst, and Warehouse. His greatest passion was following in the footsteps of his idol, “JEFF MILLS,” and he would travel far and wide to see him perform. In 1992, Mike attended the second “MAYDAY” event at the Cologne Ice Stadium, and from that moment on, he knew he wanted to be actively involved in the world of Techno.

Madjin ist ein junger 22-jähriger DJ, der am 5. September 2000 geboren wurde und 2018 seine Produzenten-Karriere startete. Er hat sich auf die Produktion von Ghosts in verschiedenen Genres spezialisiert, die von Rap über Pop bis hin zu Elektronik reichen, und verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrungen auf dem Gebiet der Musikproduktion.

2021 wurde Madjin als DJ staatlich anerkannt und erreichte bei der Abschlussprüfung an der UCPA in Lyon, Frankreich, den dritten Platz in der 56er Promotion. Sein Talent und seine Leidenschaft für Musik haben ihn in der Underground-House-Techno-Szene hervorgehoben, wo er sich in St. Martin in der Karibik etabliert hat.

Madjin hatte die Gelegenheit, an zahlreichen renommierten Orten in der Karibik aufzutreten, wie z. B. La Loterie Farm und Coco Beach. Madjin is a young 22-year-old DJ, born on September 5th, 2000, who embarked on his producer career in 2018. Specializing in ghost production across various genres, ranging from Rap to Pop to Electronic, he has gained substantial experience in the field of music production.

Denis Nocken wurde am 18. Mai 2003 in Frankfurt am Main geboren. Seine Liebe zur Musik entdeckte er bereits im jungen Alter von sechs Jahren, als er die Kunst des Klavierspielens erlernte. Erst in späteren Jahren, im Alter von 12, tauchte er ein die Welt der elektronischen Musik ein.

Angeleitet und inspiriert durch den „High-Tech Minimal“ von Boris Brejcha, wie dieser selbst seinen Sound bezeichnet, versuchte Denis, seine ersten eigenen Tracks zu produzieren. Er benutzte dazu zunächst „Fruity Loops“, doch bemerkte schnell, dass ihn diese Software zu stark begrenzt und er sich darin nicht richtig entfalten konnte. Daher beschäftigte er sich eingehender mit dem Thema „DAW“ und kam relativ schnell zu dem Schluss, sich „Ableton“ anzuschaffen, mit welchem er auch bis heute seine Musik produziert und sich völlig grenzenlos entfalten kann.

Denis ist Autodidaktik im sprichwörtlichen Sinne und bringt sich alles einzig und allein in Form von „learning by doing“ bei. Dazu schaut er sich verschiedene Tutorials bei YouTube etc. an, um sich das notwendige „Knowhow“ beizubringen.

2021 ergatterte er seinen ersten Plattenvertrag, der ihm bei einem spanischen Label namens „Señorita Records“ drei Tracks zusicherte, angesiedelt im „Melodic Techno“ und „Minimal“–Bereich, die bei YouTube hohe Klickzahlen erreichten.

Labels, die Denis sehr stark inspirierten, sind vor allem das Label von Boris Brejcha „FCKNG Serious“, „Afterlife“ und „FeChrome“ von A*S*Y*S.

Zu seinen musikalischen Vorbildern gehören weiterhin Klangkuenstler, der eher für den Style „Hard Melodic Techno“ und sehr treibende, progressive und peitschende Beats bekannt ist.

Mit seinen aktuell 19 Jahren ist Denis ein aufstrebender Musiker, Student und zudem Hobby-Boulderer, der gerne einmal seine Grenzen physisch auslotet. Nach dem Bouldern findet man ihn meistens in seinem Homestudio, wo er neue Tracks produziert.

Er kollaboriert zudem mit seinem ehemaligen Lehrer, der nach wie vor sein musikalischer Berater und Mentor ist, mit dem er auch vier eigene Tracks produziert hat.

Für Denis gibt es nichts Wichtigeres als die Musik, und er arbeitet hart daran, seine Fähigkeiten und seinen Sound stetig zu verbessern. Er hat große Ziele und träumt davon, eines Tages ein bekannter DJ und Produzent zu sein, der auf den größten Bühnen der Welt spielt und sein Publikum begeistern kann.

Denis Nocken was born on 18 May 2003 in Frankfurt am Main. He discovered his love of music at the young age of six, when he learned the art of playing the piano. It was only in later years, at the age of 12, that he immersed himself in the world of electronic music.

Denis is autodidactic in the proverbial sense and teaches himself everything solely in the form of “learning by doing”. To do this, he watches various tutorials on YouTube etc. to teach himself the necessary “knowhow”.

In 2021, he signed his first record deal with a Spanish label called “Señorita Records”, which secured him three tracks in the “melodic techno” and “minimal” genres that achieved high click numbers on YouTube.

Labels that inspired Denis very strongly are above all Boris Brejcha’s label “FCKNG Serious”, “Afterlife” and “FeChrome” by A*S*Y*S.

His musical role models continue to include Klangkuenstler, who is known more for the “Hard Melodic Techno” style and very driving, progressive and whipping beats.

Currently 19 years old, Denis is an aspiring musician, student and hobby boulderer who likes to physically test his limits. After bouldering, he can usually be found in his home studio producing new tracks.

He also collaborates with his former teacher, who is still his musical advisor and mentor, with whom he has also produced four tracks of his own.

For Denis, there is nothing more important than music, and he works hard to constantly improve his skills and sound. He has big goals and dreams of one day being a well-known DJ and producer who can play on the biggest stages in the world and thrill his audience.

Manchmal verstehen sich Katzen und Hunde eben doch und wenn sie das tun, dann produzieren sie Techno Banger: Joerg Arweiler, der in dieser Konstellation den Hund gibt, und Philipp Giebel als die Katze kennt man am besten durch ihre Beteiligung an Evosonic Radio, wo sie sich 2021 trafen und klickten.
Nach ein paar gemeinsamen DJ Gigs und diversen Radio Shows war der nächste logische Schritt eigene Tracks zu produzieren. Während Joerg eher der “in-die-Fresse-Techno” Typ ist kennt man Philipp für seinen eklektischen, verträumten Style aus Acid und Breakbeats. Kombiniert man beide und rührt einmal kräftig um lässt sich das Ergebnis am besten mit “verträumter Peak Time Techno” beschreiben. Oder irgendwie ganz anders. Egal. Hauptsache, es rockt.

Sometimes, cats and dogs do get along just fine and when they do, they produce Techno bangers:
Joerg Arweiler, posing as the dog in this constellation and Philipp Giebel posing as the cat are best known for their involvement with german radio station Evosonic Radio where they first met and clicked in 2021.
After having played a few DJ gigs together and several radio shows the next logical step was to start producing tracks.
While Joerg is more of the “in-your-face-techno” kind of guy, Philipp is known for his eclectic, dreamy style of acid and breakbeats.
When combining both and stirring well the result is best described as “dreamy peak time techno” or something completely different – doesn’t matter – as long as it rocks as it does.

Sein Leben ist Musik und er lebt für die Musik. Jeder einzelne Ton ein Stück seines Lebens. Denn man kann den Ton zwar auf eine Platte pressen oder auf ein Downloadportal stellen, aber man kann die Emotion bei jeder Note nicht speichern, höchstens die Erinnerung daran. Seit dem er denken kann, dreht sich in seinem Leben alles um die Musik. Er lernte schon früh Gitarre spielen. Später kam noch Klavier hinzu.

In seiner Jugendzeit gründete er eine Punk-Rock-Band, in der er anfangs noch Gitarre spielte, später jedoch (Weil sich niemand anderes fand) zum Gesang gewechselt ist. Aus der Punk-Rock-Band wurde eine Cover-Rock-Band und er absolvierte drei Jahre klassische Gesangsausbildung.

Musikalisch gibt es für ihn keine Grenzen. Er interessiert sich für alles, was mit Musik zu tun hat. So lernte er Dudelsack spielen und sammelt für sein Leben gerne Instrumente. Sein Motto: Er muss aus jedem Instrument wenigstens ein Lied herausbekommen.

His life is music and he lives for music. Every single note is a piece of his life. Because you can press the sound on a record or put it on a download portal, but you can’t save the emotion of each note, at most the memory of it. Ever since he can remember, everything in his life has revolved around music. He learned to play the guitar at an early age. Later he added the piano.

In his youth he founded a punk rock band, in which he initially played guitar, but later (because no one else could be found) switched to singing. The punk rock band became a cover rock band and he completed three years of classical vocal training.

Musically, there are no limits for him. He is interested in everything that has to do with music. He learned to play the bagpipes and loves collecting instruments. His motto: He has to get at least one song out of every instrument.

Anfang 1996 begann Tomtron als DJ in der House- und Techno-Szene aufzutreten. Als Gast beim ersten Psychedelic-Trance-Festival verliebte er sich in diese hochemotionale Musik mit orientalischem Touch. Nicht lange danach beginnt er, als DJ psychedelische Trancemusik aufzulegen und tritt in Israel, England, Kroatien, Dänemark, der Schweiz, Frankreich und ganz Deutschland auf.

In seiner Rolle als A&R beim Nova Tekk-Vertrieb stellte er später zahlreiche Compilations mit Goa Head-, Tantrance-, Pulse- und Goa Party-Tracks zusammen. Während dieser Zeit besucht er einen neuen Künstler namens Timm Liesegang, um Musik für Novatekk zu signieren. Das war das Beste, was ihm in dieser Zeit passieren konnte, denn es entstand eine lange und tolle Freundschaft und Timm Liesgang und Tomtron begannen, gemeinsam Musik zu machen, zwei Alben zu veröffentlichen und viel gemeinsam live zu spielen.

Gleichzeitig beginnt Tomtron mit der Organisation der Indoor-/Outdoor-Veranstaltung „Klang Der Essenzen“ in Oberhausen, Deutschland, mit einem großartigen Team und Line-up alle zwei Monate, die seit über 6 Jahren läuft.

Daher war es nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis er sein eigenes Plattenlabel Vertical Records gründete. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte sich sein Stil als DJ und Produzent bereits in Richtung UK-Trance und Progressive entwickelt.

Nachdem er das Label einige Jahre lang geleitet hatte, beschloss Tomtron, eine Pause von der Musik einzulegen und seine Zeit und Energie auf seine eigentliche Karriere zu konzentrieren.

Im Jahr 2021, fast 12 Jahre später, nahm Tomtron endlich wieder die Produktion auf, was zu einigen Single-Veröffentlichungen führte. Nachdem er Ende 2021 sein neues Label Dicular Records gegründet hatte, organisierte er Anfang 2022 auch die erste „Klang Der Essenzen“-Veranstaltung – und begann kurz darauf sogar wieder mit dem DJing.

Early 1996, Tomtron began playing as a DJ in the house and techno scene. As a guest at the first psychedelic trance festival, he fell in love with this highly emotional music with an oriental touch. Not long after, he begins spinning psychedelic trance music as a DJ, performing gigs in Israel, England, Croatia, Denmark, Switzerland, France, and all across Germany.

In his role as an A&R at Nova Tekk distribution, he later put together numerous compilations of Goa Head, Tantrance, Pulse, and Goa Party tracks. During this time, he visits a new artist called Timm Liesegang to sign some music for Novatekk. This was the best thing that could have happened to him in this time because a long and great friendship was formed and Timm Liesgang and Tomtron started making music together, releasing two albums, and playing a lot live together.

At the same time Tomtron starts organizing in Oberhausen Germany the Indoor / Outdoor event “Klang Der Essenzen” with a great team and line-up each two months, which continues to run for over 6 years.

Therefore, it was only a matter of time before he started his own record label, Vertical Records. By this time, as a DJ and producer, his style had already evolved to be more UK Trance and progressive.

After a few years of running the label, Tomtron decided to take a break from music – focusing his time and energy on his actual career.

In 2021, nearly 12 years later, Tomtron finally picked up producing again, resulting some single releases. After starting his new label Dicular Records at the end of 2021, he also organized the first “Klang Der Essenzen” event in the beginning of 2022 – and even started DJing again soon after.

1980 im Osten von Berlin geboren, frühkindlich musikalisch geprägt mit Musik der Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Krautrock und durch die 80er an sich, wurde ein breites Spektrum an Musikverständnis angelegt. 1987 begann die persönliche musikalische Laufbahn von Phil Harmony als er im Alter von 7 Jahren an der Musikhochschule in Weimar die Violine zu erlernen versuchte. 1988 als anerkannter Flüchtling mit der Lizenz zur Ausreise aus der DDR über diverse Flüchtlingsheime in Baden Würtemberg im Exil aufgewachsen, erlernte er alsbald das Klavier an der Musikschule der Hölderlinstadt Nürtingen. 1992 entdeckte er das Schlagzeug als seine neue Leidenschaft und erlernte dies autodidaktisch. 1995 gründete er zusammen mit ein paar Kumpels die erste Band, hinzu kamen zwei weitere. Konzerte in diversen Locations folgten. Bis dahin waren es eher die harten Gitarrensounds, von Black & Death Metal über Punk zum Hardcore war alles dabei. 1997 wurde für ihn die elektronische Musik wieder interessanter und eröffnete dank dem neu entdeckten Evosonic Radio eine völlig neue Welt. Der Wunsch nach Einflüssen aus selbiger in der Band hatte die Trennung zur Folge und so begann die Laufbahn als DJ. 1998 gab es erste Gehversuche als Bedroom DJ mit zwei CD Playern. Unzählige Nächte auf der Suche nach dem Geheimnis des Auflegens folgten. 2001 die ersten Turntables, Effektgeräte und ein größeres Mischpult gaben den Raum für mehr Kreativität. Erste Gehversuche an der Hardware mit einer Electribe EM1 und einem Air FX als Produzent folgten etwas später. So entdeckte er DUB und Downbeats und bekam den Spitznamen „Phil Harmony“ von einem Kollegen während einer seiner DJ Sessions zu den Klängen von Kruder & Dorfmeister, Leftfield, Rockers HiFi, Alex Reece & Thievery Corporation etc. verpasst. 2004 gründete er zusammen mit Selectaaa Kruschall die Reggae Soundcrew „Waan Heart Movement“ in Nürtingen und spielte mit ihm zusammen Deutschlandweit auf diversen Festivals und Online bei BigVibez Radio. Als „Singjay Phil Harmony“ begann er eigenen Songs zu schreiben und trat so als MC und Sänger auf gemeinsamen Shows, sowie als gebuchter Soloartist auf, als Special Guest für „Yah Meek“ zusammen mit „House of Riddim“ uvm. Zwei selbst produzierte Alben und diverse Singles folgten. 2005 gründete er die Dubnight Radioshow welche damals bei dem Online Radio Bigvibez aus Tirol ihren Anfang nahm. 2008, zurück zu den Wurzeln in Berlin und nach dem „aus“ von Bigvibez Radio bekam er einen zweiwöchentlichen Slot auf UKW 92,2 in Leipzig, wo die Dubnight Radioshow bis heute unter neuer Regie zusammen mit Plug DUB Soundsystem und dem Planet Earth Studio in den ehemaligen Räumlichkeiten von DT64 Radio in Berlin Treptow erfolgreich läuft. Diverse Auftritte in Berliner Clubs wie dem Yaam, Cassiopeia, Calabash, Lauschangriff oder der Chemiefabrik in Dresden, zwischen Albumproduktionen und Remixen folgten. Die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik abseits vom DUB und Downbeats kam nie zum Erliegen und erreichte bald den bisherigen Höhepunkt. 2018 erfüllte sich der Traum einen Slot bei Evosonic Radio, welches 2017 erneut wie Phoenix aus der Asche auferstanden war, zu bekommen.

Die Deepnight Station wurde geboren. Was daraufhin bisher geschah findet man alles im Evoarchiv. Phil Harmony versteht seine DJ Sets als eine Reise mit rotem Faden. Musik zum schweben und wegfliegen, von zart bis hart ist alles möglich, nur disharmonisch darf es nicht sein. Seine Sets werden oft als triptauglich beschrieben, was auch immer dies bedeuten mag. Das erreichen eines tranceartigen Zustandes ist Ziel.

Born in 1980 in the east of Berlin, musically influenced in early childhood with music of the Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Krautrock and by the 80s itself, a broad spectrum of musical understanding was laid out. In 1987, Phil Harmony’s personal musical career began when, at the age of 7, he tried to learn the violin at the music academy in Weimar. In 1988, as a recognised refugee with a licence to leave the GDR via various refugee homes in Baden Würtemberg, he grew up in exile and soon learned the piano at the music school in the Hölderlin town of Nürtingen. In 1992 he discovered the drums as his new passion and learned this autodidactically. In 1995, he founded his first band together with a couple of buddies, followed by two more. Concerts in various locations followed. Until then, it was rather the hard guitar sounds, from Black & Death Metal to Punk to Hardcore, everything was there. In 1997, electronic music became more interesting for him again and opened up a whole new world thanks to the newly discovered Evosonic Radio. The desire for influences from the same in the band resulted in the break-up and so began the career as a DJ. In 1998, the first steps were taken as a bedroom DJ with two CD players. Countless nights in search of the secret of DJing followed. In 2001, the first turntables, effects units and a larger mixing console gave room for more creativity. First attempts at hardware with an Electribe EM1 and an Air FX as a producer followed a little later. That’s how he discovered DUB and downbeats and got the nickname “Phil Harmony” from a colleague during one of his DJ sessions to the sounds of Kruder & Dorfmeister, Leftfield, Rockers HiFi, Alex Reece & Thievery Corporation, etc. In 2004, he founded the reggae sound crew “Waan Heart Movement” in Nürtingen together with Selectaaa Kruschall and played with him throughout Germany at various festivals and online at BigVibez Radio. As “Singjay Phil Harmony” he began to write his own songs and performed as MC and singer at joint shows, as well as a booked solo artist, as special guest for “Yah Meek” together with “House of Riddim” and many more. Two self-produced albums and various singles followed. In 2005 he founded the Dubnight radio show which started at the online radio Bigvibez from Tyrol. In 2008, back to his roots in Berlin and after the “end” of Bigvibez Radio, he got a bi-weekly slot on UKW 92,2 in Leipzig, where the Dubnight radio show is still running successfully under new direction together with Plug DUB Soundsystem and the Planet Earth Studio in the former premises of DT64 Radio in Berlin Treptow. Various gigs in Berlin clubs like Yaam, Cassiopeia, Calabash, Lauschangriff or Chemiefabrik in Dresden, between album productions and remixes followed. The love for electronic music away from DUB and downbeats never stopped and soon reached its peak so far. In 2018, the dream of getting a slot at Evosonic Radio, which had once again risen like Phoenix from the ashes in 2017, came true.

The Deepnight station was born. Everything that has happened so far can be found in the Evoarchiv. Phil Harmony sees his DJ sets as a journey with a common thread. Music to float and fly away, from soft to hard, everything is possible, but it must not be disharmonious. His sets are often described as suitable for trips, whatever that may mean. The goal is to reach a trance-like state.
