Biografie (english below)

„T.B.K.“ steht für: „TanzBarKeiten“ ein Wort für „sehr gute tanzbare Tracks mit starken Rhythmen und Melodien“. 1995 war ich 17 Jahre alt und bekam von meiner Mutter 2 Omnitronic Turntable und einen Killswitch Mixer von Gemini. Nach 1 Jahr hatte ich mir das DJing selbst beigebracht und dann produzierte ich die ersten Tapes unter meinem ersten DJ Namen DJ Wes und später unter Fry Dijon und DJ Rooker. Später folgten immer mehr Tapes nur noch unter meinem anderen Alias Fry Dijon & DJ Rooker.

Einige meiner ersten Vinyl’s, die ich gekauft habe, waren von X-Traxx Records. DJ Misjah & Groovehead so verdammt guter Techno und Acid ;-), Alex Christensen (U96-Das Boot) Oh Gott, so verdammt lange her…und sicher auch Nathalie de Bora mit “Heart but House“ und “Frisco Street Riders“, “Living on Video“ etc. p.p. und auch Cosmic Baby, Joey Beltram, Westbam, Marusha,Sven Väth und soooo viele mehr aus den guten alten Zeiten, “ The 90’s “.

Meine damaligen DJ Idole waren DJ Aphex, DJ Jordan, DJ Jauche, DJ F/X aka DJ Felix F/X und später Felix FX, PJ NFX, DJoker Daan, DJ Dash (Tresor) und natürlich Laurent Garnier, Monika Kruse und Sven Väth, Mitja Prinz, Elbee Bad, Steve Mason und viele weitere DJ’s, die Mitte/Ende der 90er Jahre und vor allem im Tresor, Hafenbar, Delicious Doughnuts, Sky Club, Lime Club auflegten.

Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit wurde ich durch den Verkauf meiner Tapes in angesagten Fashion Stores als DJ etwas bekannter und bald folgten die ersten Auftritte in Clubs wie dem Tresor (Leipziger Straße), Matrix, E-Werk, viele private Party’s und und und! Bis 2004 war ich als DJ sehr aktiv. Bedingt durch meinen damaligen Beruf und eine spätere Familiengründung, hatte ich eine sehr lange Pause.

Jetzt im Jahr 2018, nach 14 Jahren, bin ich wieder unter meinem neuen Namen T.B.K. zurück, aber natürlich auch wenn ich Techno & Minimal/Deep Tech oder House, Funky-Groove-JackinHouse ,Disco Musik unter meinen anderen 2 DJ Namen Rooker & Frank Flanger auflege.

“TanzBarKeiten” a german Word for “very good danceable tracks with strong rhythms and melodies”. In 1995 I was 17 years old and I got from my Mom 2 Omnitronic Turntable and a Killswitch Mixer from Gemini;-) After 1 Year I had taught myself the DJing and then I produced the first Tapes under my first DJ Name DJ Wes and later under Fry Dijon and DJ Rooker. Later, more and more tapes followed just only under my other alias Fry Dijon & DJ Rooker.

Some of my first Vinyl’s what i bought was from X-Traxx Records. DJ Misjah & Groovehead so damn good Techno and Acid ;-), Alex Christensen (U96-Das Boot) Oh God, so fuckin long Time ago…and for sure, Nathalie de Bora with ‘’Heart but House’’ and ‘’Frisco Street Riders’’, ‘’Living on Video’’ etc. p.p. and also Cosmic Baby, Joey Beltram, Westbam, Marusha, Sven Väth and soooo many more from the good old Times, ‘’ The 90’s ‘’.

My former DJ Idols was DJ Aphex, DJ Jordan, DJ Jauche, DJ F/X aka DJ Felix F/X and later Felix FX, PJ NFX, DJoker Daan, DJ Dash (Tresor) and naturally Laurent Garnier, Monika Kruse and Sven Väth, Mitja Prinz, Elbee Bad, Steve Mason and many more DJ’s to mix at the middle – End-/ of the 90’s and especially at Tresor, Hafenbar, Delicious Doughnuts, Sky Club, Lime Club.

Not so long ago, I selling my Tapes in trendy Fashion Stores made me a little better known as a DJ and soon followed the first appearances in Clubs like the Tresor (Leipziger Straße), Matrix, E-Werk, a lot of private Party’s and etc. etc. etc.! Until 2004 I was very active as a DJ. Due to my former job and a later foundation of my family, I had a very long break.

Now in 2018, after 14 Years, I’m back under my new Name T.B.K. but of course when I play Techno & Minimal/Deep Tech or House, Funky-Groove-JackinHouse,Disco Music under my other 2 DJ Names Rooker & Frank Flanger.

Anja Dickmann, geboren 1968 in Stuttgart! Rolling Stones, The Commodores, Janis Joplin, Roxy Music, Hot Chocolate, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Bob Seeger, Mink DeVille, James Brown, Bee Gees, waren die Künstler die meine Kindheit prägten. Liebe ab dem ersten Ton und bis heute ungebrochen war die Begegnung mit der elektronischen Musik. KRAFTWERK sind in der ZDF Hitparade aufgetreten. „Wir sind die Roboter“. Das war anders, völlig anders, nicht besser und nicht schlechter.

ABER neu, futuristisch, elektrisierend, ELEKTRONISCH! Meine Leidenschaft zur elektronischen Musik war entfacht und die ständige Suche nach den Besten und Neuesten Tracks – damals noch ausschließlich auf Vinyl und Cassette – hatte begonnen und ist bis heute ungebrochen. Als erste Stuttgarter Türsteherin im legendären Club Oz hatte ich engen Kontakt zur Technoszene und Local Dj´s wie Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., Marco Zaffarano, Roody, Commander Tom, Harry Nash, Peter Pan, u.v.m., aber auch zu internationalen Künstlern wie z.B. Laurent Garnier.

Den Mut die Plattenteller selbst zu drehen und damit auch an die Öffentlichkeit zu gehen hatte ich erst sehr spät. Als der Entschluss jedoch gefasst war, bin ich dank großartiger Unterstützung und Einführung in die Basic´s, weitgehend als Autodidakt an den Punkt gekommen an dem ich heute bin. Meine Reise als DJ hat für mich erst begonnen, die Entwicklungsmöglichkeit nach oben ist grenzenlos und ich freue mich über jeden Fortschritt und schaue mit Spannung nach vorne auf alles was noch kommt.

Love from the first note and unbroken until today was the encounter with electronic music. KRAFTWERK appeared in the ZDF Hitparade. „We are the robots“. That was different, completely different, not better and not worse.

BUT new, futuristic, electrifying, ELECTRONIC! My passion for electronic music was ignited and the constant search for the best and newest tracks – at that time still exclusively on vinyl and cassette – had begun and is still unbroken today. As the first Stuttgart bouncer at the legendary Club Oz, I had close contact to the techno scene and local Dj’s like Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., Marco Zaffarano, Roody, Commander Tom, Harry Nash, Peter Pan, and many more, but also to international artists like Laurent Garnier.

The courage to turn the turntables myself and to go public with it I had only very late. But when the decision was made, thanks to great support and introduction to the basics, I came largely as an autodidact to the point where I am today. My journey as a DJ has just begun for me, the development possibilities upwards are limitless and I am happy about every progress and look forward with excitement to everything that is yet to come.

Geboren am 07.08.1978 in Kronach im schönen Frankenwald. Im zarten Alter von 10 Jahren lernte ich Schlagzeug im Privatunterricht. Geprägt von der Metal Szene (Metallica, Iron Maiden usw.) kam ich 1989/90 das erste Mal mit elektronischer Musik in Berührung.

Jeden Freitag um 20 Uhr liefen auf Bayern 3 die Hits der Woche. Mit Kassettenrecorder bestückt wartete ich auf die Charts der Woche, damit ich diese aufnehmen konnte. Und da war es, Snap – The Power, das erste Lied, das mich dann von Metal zur elektronischen Tanzmusik verleitete.

Von da an ging das Plattensammeln an. Jede Woche wurde beim Discsender (kleiner Katalog in den 90er mit viel Vinyl und CD) bestellt. Mit 14 hatte ich meinen ersten Discotheken Besuch und war sofort begeistert, was der DJ da oben mit den Platten anstellte. Das wollte ich auch können. Und so machte ich mich in unserem Jugendclub das erste Mal an die Turntables.

1995 war dann ein weiterer Wendepunkt in Sachen Mixing. Da ich sehr viele Vinyls und CDs bei meinem „Dealer“ des Vertrauens kaufte, fragte er mich, ob ich mal eine besondere “Bravo Hits“ haben möchte. Und da war sie, The Magic Sound of Deep. Einfach geil und genial gemixt. 1996, nach langen üben mit dem schwarzen Gold, bekam ich dann erste Gigs in kleineren Clubs und auf Privatfeiern.

2009 verschlug es mich nach Mannheim zu Sunshine Live. Bei der Show „Hire and Fire“ belegte ich den zweiten Platz. 2011 fand ein DJ Wettbewerb im Café Kitsch (Kronach) statt, wo ich den 1 Platz belegte. Darauf folgten verschiedene Gigs in verschiedenen Clubs. 2018 kam ich über einen Freund (DJ Phil Harmony) zu Evosonic wo ich bis heute bin. Durch Evosonic hatte ich die Ehre 2021 beim ZDL auflegen zu dürfen.

Born on 07.08.1978 in Kronach in the beautiful Frankenwald. At the tender age of 10 years I learned drums in private lessons. Influenced by the metal scene (Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc.) I first came into contact with electronic music in 1989/90.

Every Friday at 8 p.m. the hits of the week were played on Bayern 3. Equipped with a cassette recorder, I waited for the charts of the week so I could record them. And there it was, Snap – The Power, the first song, which then led me from metal to electronic dance music.

From then on, the record collecting started. Every week was ordered from the Discsender (small catalog in the 90s with a lot of vinyl and CD). When I was 14, I visited my first discotheque and was immediately impressed by what the DJ up there was doing with the records. I wanted to be able to do that too. And so I took to the turntables for the first time in our youth club.

1995 was another turning point in mixing. Since I bought a lot of vinyls and CDs at my „dealer“ of trust, he asked me if I would like to have a special „Bravo Hits“. And there it was, The Magic Sound of Deep. Simply cool and ingeniously mixed. In 1996, after a long time of practicing with the black gold, I got my first gigs in smaller clubs and at private parties.

In 2009 I moved to Mannheim to Sunshine Live. At the show „Hire and Fire“ I got the second place. In 2011 there was a DJ competition at Café Kitsch (Kronach), where I took 1st place. This was followed by various gigs in different clubs. In 2018 I came through a friend (DJ Phil Harmony) to Evosonic where I am to this day. Through Evosonic I had the honor to DJ at the ZDL in 2021.

Der Kölner Produzent und DJ sprang an die Front der zeitgenössischen Tanzmusik im Jahr 2001 mit seiner ersten Single „Secrets of Loneliness“ auf Clubbgrove Records.

Aber die Geschichte beginnt früher ….

Die ersten Schritte nahm er als Mitglied des Hip-Hop Projekts „FCKW“. Im Jahr 1997 wurden das Projekt mit der Auszeichnung „Best Newcomer“ von dem deutschen Musiksender „VIVA“ geehrt.

Anfangs geprägt von Hip-Hop & Breakbeat, welche die lokale Musikszene überhäufte, kam das Interesse für Bands wie „Depeche Mode“, „Front 242“, „Underworld“ etc….die sein Interesse für die elektronische Musik weckten. Klassische House Labels wie „Touche Rec“, „Fresh Fruit“ und „Work Rec“ trugen zu dem Wandel herbei.

Im Jahr 1999 gründete er die „North Shore Music Construction“, die sich in der Produktion verschiedenster elektronischer Musik spezialisierte. Veröffentlichungen auf Kompilations wie z.b. Kontor – Top of the Clubs, Cafe del Mar, Good Bye Ibiza – Sound of the Closing Parties, etc. „Secrets of Loneliness“, „Captive Child“, „Forever“, „Green Room „,“ My Pain „und“ Details „wurden von Labels in Europa, den USA lizensiert. Seitdem findet man Barbaros ‘Titel in DJ Sets rund um den Globus.

Neben seiner Resident Tätigkeit in der lokalen Clubszene, reist Barbaros nationale und international, um seine Sets zu präsentieren. Seine Sets begeistern Clubber auf der ganzen Welt. Argentinien, Türkei, Ukraine, Spanien und USA waren nur ein paar Stationen. Events wie Nature One, Ruhr in Love, Atmospherica sowie Auftritte in verschiedenen Radio-Shows.

2003, entscheidet er, seine Sounds selber zu präsentieren: Mit 2 Freunden gründet er sein eigenes Label, THREE Elements. Nach 3 erfolgreichen Jahren war es Zeit für einen Wechsel. 8 Jahre später wird es weitergehen mit der Label Arbeit. Im Jahr 2011 wird NOREIRA RECORDS geboren.

Die Geschichte wird immer weiter gehen ……..

Cologne-based producers and DJ leapt to the front of contemporary dance music in 2001 with his first single „Secrets of Loneliness“ on Clubbgrove Records.

But the story starts earlier….

The first steps he took as a member of the Hip Hop project called “FCKW”. In 1997, the project were honored with the award for the “Best Newcomer Group” at the German Music TV “VIVA”.

His beginning was influenced by Hip Hop & Breakbeat which surface the German music scene , but bands like „Depeche Mode“, „Front242“ waking up his interests for the electronic music. „Touche Rec“, „Fresh Fruit“ & „Work Rec“ supports his decision for electronic music.

In 1999 he founded the “NORTH SHORE MUSIC CONSTRUCTION” which specialized in electronic music productions. His original work has also been released on compilations Kontor – Top of the Clubs, Cafe del Mar, Good Bye Ibiza – Sound of the Closing Parties, etc. „Secrets of Loneliness“, „Captive Child“, „Forever“, „Green Room“, „My Pain“, and „Details“ have been signed by music labels from Europe to the United States and have been found in DJ sets around the globe.

Which gives him the consideration of a bigger audience. Beside his Resident Clubs, Barbaros travels national and international to present his sets. His sets inspires the clubbing crowd all over the world. Argentina, Turkey, Ukraine, Spain and USA were just a few stations. Events like Nature One, Ruhr in Love, Atmospherica were schedulded as well as performances in different famous german radio shows.

2003, he decide to present a new in his music obsession: With 2 friends he starts his own Label which called Three Elements. After 3 succesfull years it was time for a change. 8 years later it will go on with the label work. In 2011 NOREIRA RECORDS is born.

DOMPE aka Dominic Wagner ist ein DJ & Produzent mit einer absoluten Leidenschaft. Ein Tag ohne Musik ist für ihn ein verlorener Tag. Er beschreibt sich selbst als rastlosen Menschen, immer auf der Suche nach dem nächsten Track und einer perfekten Baseline. Sein Output ist auffallend hoch. Der Output an Releases hat für viel Aufmerksamkeit gesorgt, national und international

2016 hat er bei vielen namhaften Labels unterschrieben wie: SNOE, LAPSUS, STYLEROCKETS, SUPERFANCY Rec., AUDIO SAFARI, WIRED und viele mehr. 2017 geht es weiter mit GET PHYSICAL, KITTBALL, MONKEY LEAGUE, STYLEROCKETS und JACK FRUIT RECORDINGS.

Die Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Freund Andreas Schreck, besser bekannt als AGENT! ist eine gute, mit einem echten Groove. Sie verbringen viel Zeit zusammen im Studio und man darf auf die Ergebnisse gespannt sein. Ihre EP SULTAN war 2017 ein großer Erfolg und wurde von CLAPTONE und vielen anderen gespielt.

Seine Tracks sind auch auf vielen „Berlin-Sounds“-Compilations zu finden. Neben seinen eigenen Veröffentlichungen bringt er auch immer wieder liebevoll getragene Remixe für seine Kumpels heraus. 2017 veröffentlichte er auf 3000 GRAD, LAUTER UNFUG, BRISE RECORDS, um nur einige zu nennen.

CLAPTONE nahm DOMPEs Tracks in seine Best of 2017 Playlist auf und anlässlich des 10-jährigen Jubiläums von HANNE & LORE hat DOMPE eine Version von HOSHLE gemacht, die frisch auf HEULSUSE erschienen ist.

Auch nicht ungewöhnlich, dass er sein eigenes Material hört, während er privat in den Clubs steht. CARL COX, LAURENT GARNIER, MARCO CAROLA, RICHIE HARTWIN spielen seine Songs.

DOMPE’s Tracks stehen für außergewöhnliche Vocals gepaart mit optimal arrangierten Sounds und Baselines. Niemals langweilig und immer innovativ.

Im Sommer 2016 spielte er zum ersten Mal in Indien (Bangalore) und verwandelte die Tanzfläche in kürzester Zeit in ein brodelndes Tanzspektakel. Aber natürlich war er auch auf den deutschen Festival-Floors zu finden, z.B. spielte er bei NATURE ONE oder DIE LETZTE WIESE. Anfang 2017 wurde er nach Russland, Nischni Nowgorod, eingeladen.

Die Berliner Szene schätzt seine Sets: DIE WILDE RENATE, BIRGIT & BIER, IPSE, RITTER BUTZKE sind nur einige Locations, in denen er spielte. HAMBURG, KASSEL, NÜRNBERG, KÖLN, WÜRZBURG und MÜNCHEN, national war alles im Programm.

Nebenbei hat er auch noch Zeit, als erfolgreicher Labelmanager für das Berliner Imprint der KIDDAZ.FM-Musicgroup namens STYLEROCKETS zu arbeiten und sein Talent für neue Sounds und hochtalentierte Künstler unter Beweis zu stellen. Mit JACK FRUIT RECORDINGS gründete er 2017 sein eigenes, brandneues Label. Bislang gab es drei Veröffentlichungen. 2018 wird es einige weitere geben, mit anderen Künstlern.

Ende 2011 zog er von Köln nach Berlin. Eine Entscheidung, die er bis heute nicht bereut hat. Aber er ist im Rheinland ein bekannter Mann. Mit einigen Buddies hat er einen Club namens ELECTROKÜCHE.

Es ist nicht unwahrscheinlich, dass er 2018 sein drittes Album veröffentlichen wird. 2011 gab es sein erstes BEAT BACK auf IMPULSE REC. und 2013 PARADISE CITY, das zweite auf MIMIQUE Rec. Es ist also Zeit für etwas Neues, das Jahr hat gerade erst begonnen.

DOMPE aka Dominic Wagner is a DJ & Producer with an absolute passion. A day without Music is a lost day for him. He describes himself as a restless person always searching for the next track and a perfect baseline. His Output is noticeably high. The Output of Releases have attracted for many attention, national and international

2016 he has signed on many named labels like: SNOE, LAPSUS, STYLEROCKETS, SUPERFANCY Rec., AUDIO SAFARI, WIRED and many more. 2017 it goes on with GET PHYSICAL, KITTBALL, MONKEY LEAGUE, STYLEROCKETS and JACK FRUIT RECORDINGS.

The cooperation with his friend Andreas Schreck, better known as AGENT! is a good one, with a real groove. They spend much time together in the Studio and one can be eager for the results. Their EP SULTAN was a big one in 2017 and played by CLAPTONE and many more.

His tracks can also be finding on many “Berlin-Sounds”-Compilations. Next to his own releases, he brings out several lovingly carried remixes for his buddies. 2017 he released on 3000 GRAD, LAUTER UNFUG, BRISE RECORDS, just to name some.

CLAPTONE put DOMPE´s Tracks in his Best of 2017 Playlist and cause of the 10th anniversary of HANNE & LORE DOMPE made his one Version of HOSHLE, fresh released on HEULSUSE.

Also not uncommon that he can listen to his own stuff while he stands in the clubs private. CARL COX, LAURENT GARNIER, MARCO CAROLA, RICHIE HARTWIN play his songs.

DOMPE´s Tracks stand for extraordinary vocals paired with optimal arranged Sounds and Baselines. Never boring and always innovative.

In the summertime 2016 he played in India (Bangalore) for the first Time, transforming the dance floor into a boiling dance extravaganza in nearly no time. But, of course, he was also finding on the German festivals floors, for example he played at NATURE ONE or DIE LETZTE WIESE. At the Beginning of 2017 he was invitated to Russia, Nischni Nowgorod.

The Berlin Scene appreciates his sets: DIE WILDE RENATE, BIRGIT & BIER, IPSE, RITTER BUTZKE are only some locations, he played. HAMBURG, KASSEL, NÜRNBERG, COLOGNE, WÜRZBURG and MUNIC, national everything was in the program.

In Addition to that he also has time to work as a successful label manager for the Berlin Imprint of the KIDDAZ.FM-Musicgroup named STYLEROCKETS and proves his talent for new sounds and high talented artists. With JACK FRUIT RECORDINGS he founded his own brand new Label in 2017. There were three releases until now. 2018 there will be some more, with other artists.

At the end of 2011 he moved from Cologne to Berlin. A decision he has never regretted. But he is a well-known man in the Rhineland. With some Buddies he had a Club called ELECTROKÜCHE.

It is not unlikely that he will release his third album 2018. 2011 there was his first one BEAT BACK on IMPULSE REC. and in 2013 PARADISE CITY was the second one on MIMIQUE Rec. So it´s time for something new, the year has just started.

Christian Grade (vorher Gerzee) ist auch als Soulhunter bekannt – langjähriger Dangerous Drums Resident und verantwortlich für 5 Veröffentlichungen auf dem gleichnamigen Label.

Christian Grade ist im Osten Berlins geboren und aufgewachsen. Seit seiner Teenagerzeit wuchs sein Interesse an elektronischer Musik und im Alter von 17 Jahren kaufte er sich sein erstes Paar Plattenspieler und fing an, Platten aufzulegen und zu sammeln.

Bald darauf hatte er seine ersten Gigs in seiner Heimatstadt und deren Umland. Er begann mit dem Auflegen von House-Platten, doch nach einiger Zeit kam er über Elektro und Two-Step zu Breakbeats und kreierte seinen eigenen Stil. Im Jahr 2001 hatte Soulhunter seinen ersten Auftritt in Berlin, gefolgt von vielen weiteren Gigs, bei denen er auf Partys wie Dangerous Drums, C21 und Break The Law spielte.

Von 2003 bis 2007 war Soulhunter Resident im Delicious Doughnuts in Berlin. Soulhunter war aber auch Resident auf einer der best laufenden Breakbeat Partys in Süddeutschland namens Lucky Break in Stuttgart und im Berliner Ruderclub Mitte, wo er eine monatliche Breaks-Veranstaltung namens Urban Breaks leitete.

Christian Grade spielt eine Mischung aus Deep House, Tech House und Techno mit einem Hauch von Oldschool.
Aktuell kann man seine Sets regelmäßig bei Zu Mir Oder Zu Dir oder Süss War Gestern hören und tanzen.

Christian Grade ist Resident bei den legendären Dangerous Drums Parties im Tresor und seit 2013 Labelmanager bei Dangerous Drums.

Seit 2019 ist Christian ein Kernteam-Mitglied von Zug der Liebe in Berlin.

Christian Grade (previously Gerzee) is also known as Soulhunter – longtime Dangerous Drums resident and responsible for 5 releases on the eponymous label.

Christian Grade was born and raised in the east of Berlin. Since his teenage years his interest in electronic music grew and at the age of 17 he bought his first pair of turntables and started spinning and collecting records.

Soon after he had his first gigs in his home town and around it. He started with spinning house records but after some time he came via electro and two step to breakbeats and created his own style. In the year 2001 Soulhunter had his first Berlin gig, followed by a lot more gigs, playing at parties like Dangerous Drums, C21 and Break The Law.

From 2003 to 2007 Soulhunter was resident at Delicious Doughnuts in Berlin. Soulhunter was although resident at one of the best running Breakbeat Parties in southern Germany called Lucky Break in Stuttgart and at the Berlin based Ruderclub Mitte where he was running a monthly Breaks event called Urban Breaks.

Christian Grade plays a mix of deep house, tech house and techno with a touch of oldschool.

Es war im Frühjahr 1984, als ich das erste Mal, eher zufällig, hinter den Decks stand. Dies war in einem Keller eines Jugendhauses in Leverkusen. Mehr als 100 Gäste feierten in der „Phonothek“ und tanzten zu „Sweet Dreams“ oder zu Queens „I want to break free“. Dies war auch das allererste Stück was ich jemals vor Publikum aufgelegt habe. Das war auf einem Technics SL7, einem Tangential-Plattenspieler, Mixen? Unmöglich!

Der Spaß an der Musik war und ist immer noch im Vordergrund für meine Arbeit und natürlich die Emotionen die Musik auslösen kann. Ich mag die DJs nicht, die sich hinter Ihrem Pult mit Cappy auf dem gesenkten Kopf verstecken. Ich mag es die Leute zu beobachten. Über die Jahre hatte ich so die Möglichkeit viele tolle und großartige Momente zu erleben.

It was in the spring of 1984 when I stand for the first time behind the decks. That was in a cellar of a Youth House in Leverkusen. More than 100 guests celebrated in the „phonothek“ and danced to „Sweet Dreams“ of Eurithmics or to Queens „I want to break free“. This 7“ Vinyl of Queen was the very first rekord I played in front of an audience. On a tangential turntable. I think it was Technics SL7 at the time. The turntables were absolutly unsuable for mixing. Touching the rekord while playing? Impossible

The happieness with music was and is still in the foreground for my work and of course the emotions that music can trigger. I don‘t like the DJs hiding behind their cappy and face down, I like to watch the people. Over the years I have been able to experience so many great moments.
