Biografie (english below)

Infiziert mit dem Technovirus ´86 durch OFF´s (Sven Väth) „Electrica Salsa“, begann Roland 12 Jahre später mit dem Auflegen. Anfangs spielte er in verschiedenen Club´s in NRW, gefolgt von Auftritten auf Veranstaltungen wie Ruhr in Love (2006 – 2009, 2016 – 2018), Loveparade Essen (2007) und Nature One (2016 – 2018). Roland war Resident beim Hexenhouse von 2006 – 2012, anschließend im DJ-Team der Housekeeper von 2012 – 2015.
Seine erste Produktion machte Roland B. im Oktober 2018 und der erste EP Release war im März 2019 auf dem renomierten Kölner Label „BluFin Rec“. Auf dem auch im September 2019 das zweite Release, „Sirens EP“ kam..!! Für das Jahr 2020 stehen schon wieder zwei starke EP´s in den Startlöchern.. !! Mit der „Nightclub EP“ kommen im Mai 20 zwei Acid-Techno Traxx auf dem Kölner Label „Studio3000 Records“ auf den Markt. Die „Brain EP“ auf dem Berliner Label „Ballroom Rec.“ wird frühzeitig angekündigt..!!

Infected with the techno virus in ’86 by OFF’s (Sven Väth) „Electrica Salsa“, Roland started DJing 12 years later. In the beginning he played in different clubs in NRW, followed by gigs at events like Ruhr in Love (2006 – 2009, 2016 – 2018), Loveparade Essen (2007) and Nature One (2016 – 2018). Roland was a resident at Hexenhouse from 2006 – 2012, then in the DJ team of Housekeeper from 2012 – 2015.
Roland B. made his first production in October 2018 and the first EP release was in March 2019 on the renowned Cologne label „BluFin Rec“. On which also in September 2019 the second release, „Sirens EP“ came…!!! For the year 2020 are already again two strong EP’s in the starting blocks…. !! With the „Nightclub EP“ come in May 20 two Acid-Techno Traxx on the Cologne label „Studio3000 Records“ on the market. The „Brain EP“ on the Berlin label „Ballroom Rec.“ will be announced early..!!!

Biografie (english below)

1980 im Osten von Berlin geboren, frühkindlich musikalisch geprägt mit Musik der Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Krautrock und durch die 80er an sich, wurde ein breites Spektrum an Musikverständnis angelegt. 1987 begann die persönliche musikalische Laufbahn von Phil Harmony als er im Alter von 7 Jahren an der Musikhochschule in Weimar die Violine zu erlernen versuchte. 1988 als anerkannter Flüchtling mit der Lizenz zur Ausreise aus der DDR über diverse Flüchtlingsheime in Baden Würtemberg im Exil aufgewachsen, erlernte er alsbald das Klavier an der Musikschule der Hölderlinstadt Nürtingen. 1992 entdeckte er das Schlagzeug als seine neue Leidenschaft und erlernte dies autodidaktisch. 1995 gründete er zusammen mit ein paar Kumpels die erste Band, hinzu kamen zwei weitere. Konzerte in diversen Locations folgten. Bis dahin waren es eher die harten Gitarrensounds, von Black & Death Metal über Punk zum Hardcore war alles dabei. 1997 wurde für ihn die elektronische Musik wieder interessanter und eröffnete dank dem neu entdeckten Evosonic Radio eine völlig neue Welt. Der Wunsch nach Einflüssen aus selbiger in der Band hatte die Trennung zur Folge und so begann die Laufbahn als DJ. 1998 gab es erste Gehversuche als Bedroom DJ mit zwei CD Playern. Unzählige Nächte auf der Suche nach dem Geheimnis des Auflegens folgten. 2001 die ersten Turntables, Effektgeräte und ein größeres Mischpult gaben den Raum für mehr Kreativität. Erste Gehversuche an der Hardware mit einer Electribe EM1 und einem Air FX als Produzent folgten etwas später. So entdeckte er DUB und Downbeats und bekam den Spitznamen „Phil Harmony“ von einem Kollegen während einer seiner DJ Sessions zu den Klängen von Kruder & Dorfmeister, Leftfield, Rockers HiFi, Alex Reece & Thievery Corporation etc. verpasst. 2004 gründete er zusammen mit Selectaaa Kruschall die Reggae Soundcrew „Waan Heart Movement“ in Nürtingen und spielte mit ihm zusammen Deutschlandweit auf diversen Festivals und Online bei BigVibez Radio. Als „Singjay Phil Harmony“ begann er eigenen Songs zu schreiben und trat so als MC und Sänger auf gemeinsamen Shows, sowie als gebuchter Soloartist auf, als Special Guest für „Yah Meek“ zusammen mit „House of Riddim“ uvm. Zwei selbst produzierte Alben und diverse Singles folgten. 2005 gründete er die Dubnight Radioshow welche damals bei dem Online Radio Bigvibez aus Tirol ihren Anfang nahm. 2008, zurück zu den Wurzeln in Berlin und nach dem „aus“ von Bigvibez Radio bekam er einen zweiwöchentlichen Slot auf UKW 92,2 in Leipzig, wo die Dubnight Radioshow bis heute unter neuer Regie zusammen mit Plug DUB Soundsystem und dem Planet Earth Studio in den ehemaligen Räumlichkeiten von DT64 Radio in Berlin Treptow erfolgreich läuft. Diverse Auftritte in Berliner Clubs wie dem Yaam, Cassiopeia, Calabash, Lauschangriff oder der Chemiefabrik in Dresden, zwischen Albumproduktionen und Remixen folgten. Die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik abseits vom DUB und Downbeats kam nie zum Erliegen und erreichte bald den bisherigen Höhepunkt. 2018 erfüllte sich der Traum einen Slot bei Evosonic Radio, welches 2017 erneut wie Phoenix aus der Asche auferstanden war, zu bekommen.

Die Deepnight Station wurde geboren. Was daraufhin bisher geschah findet man alles im Evoarchiv. Phil Harmony versteht seine DJ Sets als eine Reise mit rotem Faden. Musik zum schweben und wegfliegen, von zart bis hart ist alles möglich, nur disharmonisch darf es nicht sein. Seine Sets werden oft als triptauglich beschrieben, was auch immer dies bedeuten mag. Das erreichen eines tranceartigen Zustandes ist Ziel.

Born in 1980 in the east of Berlin, musically influenced in early childhood with music of the Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Krautrock and by the 80s itself, a broad spectrum of musical understanding was laid out. In 1987, Phil Harmony’s personal musical career began when, at the age of 7, he tried to learn the violin at the music academy in Weimar. In 1988, as a recognised refugee with a licence to leave the GDR via various refugee homes in Baden Würtemberg, he grew up in exile and soon learned the piano at the music school in the Hölderlin town of Nürtingen. In 1992 he discovered the drums as his new passion and learned this autodidactically. In 1995, he founded his first band together with a couple of buddies, followed by two more. Concerts in various locations followed. Until then, it was rather the hard guitar sounds, from Black & Death Metal to Punk to Hardcore, everything was there. In 1997, electronic music became more interesting for him again and opened up a whole new world thanks to the newly discovered Evosonic Radio. The desire for influences from the same in the band resulted in the break-up and so began the career as a DJ. In 1998, the first steps were taken as a bedroom DJ with two CD players. Countless nights in search of the secret of DJing followed. In 2001, the first turntables, effects units and a larger mixing console gave room for more creativity. First attempts at hardware with an Electribe EM1 and an Air FX as a producer followed a little later. That’s how he discovered DUB and downbeats and got the nickname „Phil Harmony“ from a colleague during one of his DJ sessions to the sounds of Kruder & Dorfmeister, Leftfield, Rockers HiFi, Alex Reece & Thievery Corporation, etc. In 2004, he founded the reggae sound crew „Waan Heart Movement“ in Nürtingen together with Selectaaa Kruschall and played with him throughout Germany at various festivals and online at BigVibez Radio. As „Singjay Phil Harmony“ he began to write his own songs and performed as MC and singer at joint shows, as well as a booked solo artist, as special guest for „Yah Meek“ together with „House of Riddim“ and many more. Two self-produced albums and various singles followed. In 2005 he founded the Dubnight radio show which started at the online radio Bigvibez from Tyrol. In 2008, back to his roots in Berlin and after the „end“ of Bigvibez Radio, he got a bi-weekly slot on UKW 92,2 in Leipzig, where the Dubnight radio show is still running successfully under new direction together with Plug DUB Soundsystem and the Planet Earth Studio in the former premises of DT64 Radio in Berlin Treptow. Various gigs in Berlin clubs like Yaam, Cassiopeia, Calabash, Lauschangriff or Chemiefabrik in Dresden, between album productions and remixes followed. The love for electronic music away from DUB and downbeats never stopped and soon reached its peak so far. In 2018, the dream of getting a slot at Evosonic Radio, which had once again risen like Phoenix from the ashes in 2017, came true.

The Deepnight station was born. Everything that has happened so far can be found in the Evoarchiv. Phil Harmony sees his DJ sets as a journey with a common thread. Music to float and fly away, from soft to hard, everything is possible, but it must not be disharmonious. His sets are often described as suitable for trips, whatever that may mean. The goal is to reach a trance-like state.

Noah Levin, Sohn von Janja Mihaljevic, DIE Stimme von Evosonic und Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., Mister Evosonic, kam kurz nach dem Sendeschluss des legendären Radio Senders, Anfang 2000, zur Welt. Da war klar, wohin die musikalische Reise geht. Als Teenager noch großer Fan von deutschsprachigem Hip Hop und Bewunderer von Sprachkünstler wie Kool Savas, musste erst die 2 vor der 0 stehen, bis elektronische Musik dem Hip Hop das Wasser reichen konnte. Es dauerte auch noch ein paar Monate, bis ihm bewusst wurde, welch musikalischen Wurzeln in seiner Familie stecken.

Der Startschuss zum Wandel von Konsumenten zum DJ, gab die Show „MikeLike Auslaufen“ auf Evosonic Radio, mittlerweile zum erfolgreichen Internetradio mutiert, immer noch geführt vom Papa. Bei der ersten Show saß er noch vor dem Radio, eine Ausgabe später, saß er schon im Studio und hinter, bei der Show eine Woche danach neben dem Papa. Ende 2020 hat ihn selbiger die Wochenende Ausgabe vom Evopool Update anvertraut. Zusammen mit Julia Löwenherz begleitet er nun jeden Samstag eine der wichtigsten Radiosendungen auf …. Ihr wisst schon.

Regelmäßige Gastauftritte bei einigen Ausgaben der „MikeLike“ Reihe, Einsätze bei Silvester- und Geburtstagsshows On Air, machten ihn schnell zum festen Bestandteil der Evosonic Crew. Nicht etwa durch den Familien Bonus, sondern einzig und allein durch sein Können. „Ich habe noch nie jemanden erlebt, der so schnell kapiert hat, um was es beim DJing letztendlich geht. Und das obwohl er noch lange nicht seinen Style im großen Genre Wirrwarr der elektronischen Musik gefunden hat“, so der Vater. Chris Maico Schmidt fügt noch hinzu: „In Zeiten von Corona war es im bisher leider nicht vergönnt, als DJ vor Publikum zu spielen. Wenn der Virus besiegt ist und er dann bereit ist, die Clubs der Welt zu rocken, könnte er ein ganz großer werden“.

Der so wichtige Schritt zum Musikproduzenten umso ein großer zu werden, wie prophezeit, ist auch schon vollbracht. Zusammen mit …. Ihr wisst schon, hat er ein paar Tracks erfolgreich zur Veröffentlichung „editiert“!

Noah Levin, son of Janja Mihaljevic, THE voice of Evosonic and Chris Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., Mister Evosonic, was born shortly after the legendary radio station went off the air, in early 2000. It was clear then where the musical journey was going. As a teenager he was still a big fan of German hip hop and admirer of spoken word artists like Kool Savas, but it took a 2 before a 0 for electronic music to catch up with hip hop. It also took him a few more months to realize the musical roots that run in his family.

The starting signal for the change from consumer to DJ was the show „MikeLike Auslaufen“ on Evosonic Radio, meanwhile mutated to a successful internet radio, still run by his dad. At the first show he was still sitting in front of the radio, one issue later, he was already sitting in the studio and behind, at the show a week later next to the dad. At the end of 2020, he was entrusted with the weekend edition of Evopool Update. Together with Julia Löwenherz, he now accompanies one of the most important radio shows on …. every Saturday. You know.

Regular guest appearances on some editions of the „MikeLike“ series, stints at New Year’s Eve and birthday shows on air, quickly made him an integral part of the Evosonic crew. Not because of the family bonus, but solely because of his skills. „I’ve never seen anyone who understood so quickly what DJing is all about. And this despite the fact that he is far from having found his style in the great genre jumble of electronic music,“ he says. Chris Maico Schmidt adds: „In the times of Corona, he has unfortunately not been able to play in front of an audience as a DJ. If the virus is defeated and he is then ready to rock the clubs of the world, he could become a very big one“.

The so important step to become a music producer around so a large one, as prophesied, is also already accomplished. Together with …. You know, he has successfully „edited“ a few tracks for release!

1984 in Potsdam geboren, kam miKech früh mit vielen Musikgenre in Berührung. Im laufe der Zeit entdeckte er die eigentliche Liebe zur elektronischen Musik. 2007 kam der erste Gig dazu und 2010 begann er selber zu produzieren. Bald darauf holte er sich damit namenhaftes Feedback ein und wurde 2013 ein wichtiger Teil des Berliner Labels Who Else Music. Über die Jahre entstand beim auflegen eine Experimentierfreudigkeit, die sich in seinen DJ-Sets wiederspiegelt. Der Sound geht von Deep-House über melodische Akzente bis hin zu treibenden Techno-Beats und somit entsteht seine ganz eigene Note der elektronischen Tanzmusik. Seit 2014 ist er auch ein Teil des Duos „Not Usual“ und damit auch international erfolgreich unterwegs. Im Jahr 2017 gründet miKech den Kanal „Like That Underground“ und betreibt einen wöchentlichen Podcast mit bekannten und unbekannten Künstlern aus aller Welt.

Over time he discovered the true love for electronic music. 2007 his first gig came and 2010 he started producing his own tracks. Soon he get well-known Feedback for this and became an important part of the Berlin label Who Else Music in 2013. Over the years, a willingness to experiment proved, which is reflected in his DJ sets. The sound is a mix from deep-house through melodic accents to floating techno beats and thus created his very own touch of electronic music. Since 2014 he is also a part of the duo „Not Usual“ and successful on the international stages. In 2017 miKech launched the Channel „Like That Underground“ and hosted the weekly Podcast Series with known and unkown artists around the globe.

Produzent seit 1990, Live-Act seit 1990, DJ seit 1992, Mijk van Dijk lebt und arbeitet in Berlin/ Deutschland.

Mutig wie eh und je steht die Techno-Musik im Zentrum von Mijk van Dijks musikalischem Universum, dem Ort, den er seinen ‚Mikroglobus‘ nennt. Mijk gibt sich nicht damit zufrieden, nur bewegende Beats und gefühlsbetonte Klänge zu mischen, sondern widmet sich dem Verbreiten einer Botschaft durch Songtitel, Samples und seine eigenen Lyrics. Die Idee eines Mikroglobus: Ideen und Musik mit Menschen auf einem immer stärker vernetzten Planeten zu teilen und die Facetten elektronischer Musik nur auf Kontinenten hörbar zu machen, prägt weiterhin seine künstlerische Vorstellung.

In einer Karriere, die sich mittlerweile über 30 Jahre allein in der elektronischen Musik erstreckt, hat Mijk mit und für eine Vielzahl von Künstlern produziert, darunter DJ Hell, Claude Young, Takkyu Ishino, Thomas Schuhmacher, DJ Rok, Toby Izui, Tanith, Cosmic Baby, Namito, Rummy Sharma, Rob Acid, Tom Wax und Martin Eyerer. Er hat auch Moby, Denki Groove, 2raumwohnung, GTO, Frankie Bones, Humate und Emmanuel Top geremixt, um nur einige zu nennen. Eine seiner bisher bekanntesten Produktionen – der Marmion-Tune Schöneberg – entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit Marcos López und gilt als einer der ewigen Klassiker in House und Techno.

Mijk tourte weltweit und entwickelte eine besonders starke Bindung zu seinen Fans in Japan, wo er auf Major- und Independent-Labels, wie Sony Music und Frogman Records, veröffentlichte.

Als geübter Musiker hat Mijk van Dijk live vor Zehntausenden von Zuhörern gespielt und auch mit Musikern verschiedener Disziplinen und Genres gejammt. Seine DJ-Sets enthalten oft Live-Elemente wie Drum-Maschinen und Effekte, was jedes zu einem frischen und exklusiven Erlebnis macht.

Microglobe ist nun das Zuhause für all die verschiedenen Schattierungen von Mijks Musikstil. Es begann als Projektname, unter dem er sein erstes Album Afreuropamericasiaustralica veröffentlichte, und repräsentiert nun sein neues Label microglobe musikproduktion, das alle Einflüsse von Mijks Musik in einer unverwechselbaren musikalischen Botschaft zusammenführt.

2019 folgten seine Debüt-EP für Trapez Records sowie Arbeiten für das wiederbelebte legendäre Techno-Label djungle fever. Feste Releases für 2020 sind Produktionen für das Techno-Kultlabel Force Inc. und natürlich für sein eigenes Imprint microglobe.

Mijk van Dijk wurde bereits in den frühen 90er Jahren von Deutschlands führendem Techno-Magazin Frontpage als Multi-Mijk bezeichnet. Dies ist heute wahrer denn je.

As bold as ever, Techno music has always been at the centre of Mijk van Dijk’s musical universe, the place he calls his ‘microglobe’. Not satisfied with only mixing moving beats and emotive sounds, Mijk is dedicated to spreading a message through song titles, samples and his own lyrics. The idea of a microglobe: sharing ideas and music with people across an ever more connected planet and the facets of electronic music just being audible continents in a world of music continues to shape his artistic imagination.

Throughout a career that now spans 30 years in electronic music alone, Mijk has produced with and for a diverse number of artists, including DJ Hell, Claude Young, Takkyu Ishino, Thomas Schuhmacher, DJ Rok, Toby Izui, Tanith, Cosmic Baby, Namito, Rummy Sharma, Rob Acid, Tom Wax and Martin Eyerer. He has also remixed Moby, Denki Groove, 2raumwohnung, GTO, Frankie Bones, Humate and Emmanuel Top, to name but a few. One of his most acclaimed productions to date – the Marmion tune Schöneberg – was conceived in collaboration with Marcos López and is considered as one of the eternal classics in House and Techno.

Mijk has toured worldwide and developed an especially strong bond with fans in Japan, where he released on major and independent labels, such as Sony Music and Frogman Records

Being a practiced musician Mijk van Dijk has played live to audiences of tens of thousands, as well as jamming with music artists of different disciplines and genres. His DJ sets may often include live elements such as drum machines and effects, making each a fresh and exclusive experience.

Microglobe is now home to all the different shades of Mijk’s musical style. It began as a project name under which he released his first album Afreuropamericasiaustralica and now represents his new label microglobe musikproduktion which merges all the influences of Mijk’s music in one distinctive musical message.

2019 saw his debut EP for Trapez Records as well as works for the relaunched legendary Techno labels djungle fever. Fixed releases for 2020 are productions for Techno cult label Force Inc. and of course for his his own imprint microglobe.

Mijk van Dijk was already called Multi-Mijk by Germany’s leading Techno mag Frontpage in the early 90s. This is truer today than ever before.

Bereits im Jahre 1994 begann Hardy Heller damit unter dem Trademark „Ohral“ Events zu veranstalten. Aus einer gelungenen Party in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse entwickelte sich eine Partyreihe. Weitere Veranstaltungen und Veranstaltungsreihen an den verschiedensten Orten (bspw. Soho / Mannheim, U60311 / Frankfurt) folgten und so entwickelte sich über die Jahre eine gewachsene, überregionale Community. Ohral versteht sich dabei einerseits als Veranstalter, andererseits aber auch als Agentur die Künstler bucht bzw. verbucht. Seit 2011 gehört das Vermarkten von Musikproduktionen unserer Künstler bzw. Künstlern, die mit Ohral zusammenarbeiten ebenso zu unserem Portfolio. Ohral / Hardy Heller bestritt auch bereits gute 5 Jahre eine eigene Radio Sendung auf „Sunshine Live“ namens „Groovedelic“. 2019 sind sie dann zurück und die Ohralis „Maxie König“ und / oder „Hardy Heller“ präsentieren dir die Radioshow „Ohral On Air“ hier auf „Evosonic Radio“ mit spannenden Mixes, Interviews und generellen News aus der Welt des „Ohral-Universum“.

Already in the year 1994 Hardy Heller started to organize events under the trademark “OHRAL”. After a very successful party in Newtown there developed quite a series of parties. Further happenings and series of happenings at very different locations (e.g. Soho / Mannheim / U603111 / Frankfurt) followed and thus a more than regional Community has arisen which has been growing up for all these years. OHRAL regard themselves as an organizer of events but on the other hand has been booking artists as their promoting agent. Since 2011 the marketing of our artists or artists who cooperate with us belongs to our portfolio. „Ohral / Hardy heller“ also did a radio show named „Groovedelic“ on the most important radio station for electronic dance music in germany – Sunshine Live – for about 5 years. 2019 on the „Ohralis“ as Hardy heller and / or Maxie König are back to present you the radio show „Ohral On Air“ here on „Evosonic Radio“. Bringing you interesting Mixes, Interviews as well as general news out of the „Ohral Universe“.

Geboren in Salzburg und 2005 beruflich bedingt in den Ruhrpott gezogen, seit 2010 im Münsterland ansässig. Nach seinen ersten besuchen auf diversen Partys 1994, hat ihn dann ein Freund mit dem Auflege-Virus angesteckt.

Ab Mitte der 1990ern hat er immer wieder unter den Pseudonymen „Armada“ und „Rebel“ aufgelegt. In den letzten Jahren hat er diverse Podcasts und Gast Mixe für Internetradiostationen gemacht (kickFM, Underground Frequenzy, Evosonic Radio) und natürlich seine eigenen Plattformen immer mit ausreichend Nachschub versorgt.

Born in Salzburg and moved to the Ruhr area in 2005 for professional reasons, since 2010 resident in Münsterland. After his first visit to various parties in 1994, then a friend infected him with the dj virus.

From the mid-1990s, he has repeatedly launche das a dj under the pseudonyms „Armada“ and „Rebel“. In recent years, he has made various podcasts and guest mixes for Internet radio stations (kickFM, Underground Frequenzy, Evosonic Radio) and of course always supplied his own platforms with sufficient supplies.

Geboren und aufgewachsen in Sankt Petersburg, Russland, hat Kirill Matveev bewiesen, dass er einer der raffiniertesten Künstler seines Landes ist. Sein Sound kann alle möglichen Stimmungen durchlaufen, was ihn ideal für das Aufwärmen einer Tanzfläche, frühe Afterhours und Ausbrüche zu Spitzenzeiten macht. Kirill hat eine sehr exquisite Art, musikalische Reisen zusammenzustellen. Sein Hauptaugenmerk liegt darauf, Edelsteine aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart zu präsentieren, um eine durchdringende Geschichte für den Zuhörer zu schaffen, die viel Raum zwischen den Klängen für eine bessere Wertschätzung lässt.

Seine einfühlsame Vision und Auswahl elektronischer Musik hat ihn zu einem wahren Magneten für sein Publikum gemacht, der seine Vielseitigkeit sowohl als DJ als auch als Produzent unterstreicht. Sein Beitrag als Künstler begann im Jahr 1997 und hält bis heute mit größeren Projekten an.

Kirill ist der Mastermind und CEO von MixCult Records, Radio & Vinyl Store, einem in Sankt Petersburg ansässigen Projekt, das sorgfältig ausgewählte Deep-, Minimal-, Dub-, Techno- und House-Musik aus allen Epochen mit einer großen Auswahl an Vintage-Videos aus Russland präsentiert.

Sein Projekt „MixCult“ hat effizient als eine Einrichtung für künstlerische Manifestation und ein Medium für visionären Output funktioniert, das Underground-Künstlern den Durchbruch zu einem viel breiteren Publikum ermöglicht, das nach unbestreitbarer Qualitätsmusik sucht.

Kirill Matveev ist die Hauptfigur der eher unterirdischen Seite der elektronischen Musik von Ibiza Global Radio, der MixCult Radio Show Sektion. Er kollaboriert mit seinen selbstbewussten Kommentaren über das Soundkonzept seines Labels und Sets von Residents. Er sendet direkt aus Sankt Petersburg, Russland, in die ganze Welt.

Born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Kirill Matveev has demonstrated to be one of the most refined artists in his country. His sound can go through every mood possible, making him ideal for warming up a dance floor, early afterhours and peak time outburst. Kirill has a very exquisite way of assembling musical journeys. His main focus is to present gems from both past and present to create a penetrating storyline for the listener, allowing abundant space between sounds for better appreciation.

His insightful vision and selection of electronic music has led him to achieve true magnetism with his audience emphasizing his versatility as both DJ and producer. His contribution as an artist start in the year 1997 yet held nowadays with bigger projects ahead.

Kirill is the mastermind and CEO of MixCult Records, Radio & Vinyl Store, a Saint Petersburg based project that presents carefully selected Deep, Minimal, Dub, Techno and House music from all epochs with a wide range of vintage videos from Russia.

His project “MixCult” has efficiently operated as an establishment for artistic manifestation and a medium for visionary output, allowing underground artists to break through to a much wider audience that seek for unquestionable quality music.

Kirill Matveev is the starring figure of Ibiza Global Radio’s more underground side of electronic music, MixCult Radio Show section. Kay Barton wurde 1980 in Norddeutschland geboren. Bereits im Alter von 14 Jahren begann er mit der Produktion elektronischer Musik mit simpler DOS-Betriebssoftware. Mit seinem Umzug nach Süddeutschland in die Nähe von Heidelberg im Jahr 1997 bekam Kay die Möglichkeit, tatsächlich an seiner Karriere zu arbeiten. Neben dem Produzieren begann er als DJ zu arbeiten und spielt seither dynamische Techno und Tech House Sets. Im Laufe der Jahre spielte Kay bei vielen Veranstaltungen oder im Rahmen selbiger, wie Loveparade Berlin, Street Parade Zürich und G-Move Hamburg, sowie für verschiedene deutsche Rundfunksender und Radiostationen (z.B. Sunshine Live).
Neben regulären Bookings veranstaltete Kay auch selbst regelmäßig Events rund um die elektronische Musik an verschiedenen Orten im Rhein-Main-Gebiet, wie z.B. „The Place To Be“ oder „Trendwaende“. Nach Veröffentlichungen verschiedener Arten von elektronischer Tanzmusik unter verschiedenen Künstlernamen konzentriert sich Kay nun unter seinem bürgerlichen Namen Kay Barton auf reine Techno und Tech House Musik.

2016 debütierte er hier mit seiner Single „Return 01“, die auf dem international bekannten belgischen Plattenlabel Bonzai veröffentlicht wurde. 2019 erschien Kays EP „Macro God“ sowohl digital als auch auf Vinyl bei Emerald & Doreen Records. Für die pumpenden Techno- und Acid-Tracks bekam er Remix-Unterstützung vom Loveparade-Gründer Dr. Motte sowie von Mijk van Dijk, zwei Große der elektronischen Musik. In seiner aktuellen Veranstaltungs- und Mix-Reihe „Sophisticated Rhythms“ bringt er unterschiedliche Künstler der Techno-Szene in Mix-Podcasts, Live-Streams oder Club-Events zusammen.

Kay Barton was born in North Germany in 1980. From just 14 years of age he started producing electronic music by using basic DOS operating software. After moving to Southern Germany near Heidelberg in 1997, Kay was given the possibility to actually work on his career for the first time. Besides producing he started working as a DJ and ever since he plays dynamic techno and tech house sets. Over the years Kay has played in many national and international locations, at events like or in the frameworks of Loveparade Berlin, Street Parade Zurich and G-Move Hamburg as well as for several German broadcast transmitters and radio stations (e.g. Sunshine Live).
Apart from bookings Kay regularly hosted numerous events dedicated to electronic music in different locations around the Rhine-Main area, such as “The Place To Be” or “Trendwaende”. After releases of various kinds of electronic dance music under different artist names Kay now focus on straight techno and tech house music under his real name Kay Barton.

2016 he debuted here with his single “Return 01” which has been released on the internationally known Belgian record label Bonzai. 2019 Kay’s EP “MacroGod“ appeared on Emerald & Doreen Records both digitally and on vinyl. For this pumping techno and acid tracks he got remix support by Loveparade founder Dr. Motte as well as by Mijk van Dijk, two techno godfathers and international artists who both heavily shaped the early Berlin underground music scene in the 90s just after the fall of the Berlin Wall. In his current event and mix series “Sophisticated Rhythms” he brings together different artists from the techno scene in either mix podcasts, live streams or club events.

Julia Löwenherz wurde 1989 geboren und wuchs in Baden-Württemberg bei Mosbach auf. Schon früh entwickelte sie eine Affinität zur Musik, welche sich schon während der Jugend in die elektronische Richtung neigte. 2015 zog sie nach Köln. Hier kam sie erstmals mit dem Radio 674.fm in Berührung und bekam erste reale Eindrücke davon, was es heißt aufzulegen.

Fasziniert und inspiriert von den Möglichkeiten eines DJs, entwickelte sie schnell Interesse daran, selbst aufzulegen, beziehungsweise das „Handwerk“ zu beherrschen und mit der Musik zu experimentieren und jonglieren, dadurch ein neues Kunstwerk zu schaffen bei dem das Ergebnis größer ist als die Summe seiner Teile, das Gefühle und Emotionen transportiert.

Bis zum ersten offiziellen Gig vergingen weitere lehrreiche 2 Jahre. Nach dem ersten Set bei der Drumbulanz/674.fm folgten weitere, unter anderen auch bei Tagedieb. Zeitgleich lernte sie den Radiosender Evosonic kennen und lieben. Durch eine glückliche Fügung bekam sie dort tiefere Einblicke in das Radio- und Musikbusiness. Mit wenig praktischer Erfahrung, aber dafür kürzlich erlerntem theoretischem Wissen, einer Vision und Idee und dem Verständnis für Technik, überzeugte sie 2020 den Boss himself: Chris Maico Schmidt. Im Herbst des Jahres ergab sich für Julia die Chance, zusammen mit Noah Levin, dreimal im Monat das Evopool-Update Weekend Edition zu hosten, welche sie ohne zu zögern ergriff und seitdem ihr Glück nicht fassen kann.

Julia Löwenherz was born in 1989 and raised near Mosbach in Baden-Württemberg. Early in her childhood she developed a strong affinity for music, which increasingly leaned towards electronic music during her adolescence. In 2015 she moved to Cologne. Here she first got in contact with the radiostation 674.fm and collected her first impressions about what it really means to mix records.

Fascinated and inspired by the possibilities of a DJ she quickly grew an interest in spinning records herself and mastering the craft. To experiment and juggle with music and thus form a completely new artwork, that is bigger than just the sum of its pieces. Something that transports feelings and emotions.

Two intense years of learning passed until her first official gig. After the first set at the Drumbulanz/674.fm more followed, among others at Tagedieb. During the same time she fell in love with the Evosonic radiostation. Through a lucky coincidence she got the chance to dive deeper into the radio- and musicbusiness. With little practical experience but plenty of newly aquired theoretical knowledge and a vision and idea besides a good understanding for technology, she convinced the boss in 2020: Chris Maico Schmidt himself. The following autumn she got the chance to host the Evopool-Update Weekend Edition for three times a month, together with Noah Levin. Which she decisively embraced and ever since can’t believe her fortune.
