Auf dem Union Rave im Tor 3 kam er 1993 das erste Mal mit House & Techno in Kontakt. Nach vielen weiteren Partys wollte Andy nur noch eins, den Dancefloor mit dem Platz hinter den Turntables tauschen! 1996 war es soweit, es kam zu seinen ersten Auftritten in verschiedenen Clubs rund um Köln. Ab 1997 war Resident DJ bei Evosonic Radio, damals der einzige Radiosender, der 24 Stunden Nonstop elektronische Musik Europaweit sendete. Der Kultsender prägte ihn sehr. Vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag war der Sender sein zweites Zuhause. Das moderieren fiel ihm ebenso leicht, wie das produzieren von Jingles und Trailern. Mit „Sleep Disorder“ hatte er seine erste wöchentliche Radioshow. Als fester Bestandteil der Radiocrew und durch viele Stunden ON AIR, erweiterte Andy seinen musikalischen Horizont innerhalb der elektronischen Musik.

Nach diversen nationalen Gigs (siehe Stations) waren die Auftritte bei der Loveparade 1998 und 1999 als Main-Act von Evosonic Radio einer seiner Highlights. 2012 bei der legendären Geburtstagsshow zum 15. Jubiläum von Evosonic Radio, entdeckte Andy Baar das Internetradio für sich. Seither nutzt er diesen Weg um seine immer noch vorhandene Fangemeinde mit meinem typischen „Andy Baar Sound“ zu versorgen! 2017 startet Evosonic Radio erneut….mit Andy Baar. 2017 ist auch das Jahr eines weiteren Höhepunkt in seiner Karriere. Auf Evosonic Records erscheint seine erste Produktion: “Sleep Disorder EP”.

Andy Baar’s first contact with electronic Dancemusic was in 1993 at Düsseldorf Unionrave. From there on he’d knew ”This is my thing”. Being Guest at several Partys with electronic Music he felt the need to swap his place on the dancefloor with a place behind the turntables. In 1996 having the first gigs in Clubs arround Cologne. 1997 was the beginning of what he really liked: He started as resident DJ at Evosonic Radio. From the first day to it’s last, Evosonic Radio was his second homebase. Starting with the Show ”Evopool-Update”, he loved to work on air and everything that had to do with that, like recording jingles, creating concepts and sets for the show. Quick after that he had his first own weekly show called “Sleep Disorder”.

Hours and hours on air, getting a much brighter horizon of what electronic music could do, he went more and more familiar with lots of genres electronic music has to offer. Several gigs around Germany and being a part of the Loveprades DJset 1998 and 1999 were some of his highlights. 2012 the old love of making Radio shows knocked on his door with the possibility of having an online broadcast at the 15th anniversary of Evosonic Radio. Since the he used this way for broadcasting his “Wunderbaar Radioshow” (since 2016 his show “Sleep Disorder” as podcast) for letting old and new fans have the typical sound again. 2017 startet Evosonic Radio again….with Andy Baar. 2017 is also the year of another highlight in his career. On Evosonic Records his first production is released: „Sleep Disorder EP“.

Biografie

Am 21. Dezember 1978 in der schönen Hansestadt Rostock geboren und aufgewachsen, aber mittlerweile auch im Weserbergland (zwischen Bielefeld und Hannover) verankert. Doch nun, es schlagen zwei Herzen in der Brust — und ein Küstenkind bleibt ein Küstenkind, also wird regelmäßig zwischen Weser und Ostsee gependelt.

Gefühlt bin ich schon ewig musikverliebt, dahingehend war Opas Phonoschrank mit seinen alten Platten in früherer Kindheit quasi der erste Anlaufpunkt in Sachen Musik.

Später, an Mutters Kassettendeck, wurden regelmäßig Tracks aus Radiosendungen mitgeschnitten und die Stars aus ihrer Jugendzeit gehört: Fleetwood Mac, Simon & Garfunkel, Manfred Mann’s Earthband usw. stellen heutzutage immer noch große Einflüsse dar.

90er: Elektronische Musik hat mich elektrisiert und gefesselt!!! Rave und Techno waren „das Ding“ und nicht mehr wegzudenken. Den erste Rave noch vor Augen, wir schreiben das Jahr 1994, mit Freunden im Zug nach Lübeck, dann weiter nach Groß Weden — und das mit zarten 15 Jahren. Es war insgesamt eine sehr aufregende, spannende Zeit mit vielen illegalen Partys in Abbruchhäusern, Hallen oder Kellergewölben.

Aufsaugen und Genießen: Ich bin darüber hinaus einfach ein leidenschaftlicher Musikhörer, ohne den Wunsch zu verspüren, selber aufzulegen oder zu produzieren. Dabei werden von mir alle Arten und Formen von Musik sehr geschätzt — meine Leidenschaft aber gilt der elektronischen Musik. Und das absolut stiloffen.

Dann 2021 — die ersten Schritte in Sachen Radio mit Moderation: Mit der Sendung „@Klangtherapie“ als Alexxisalexander wurden in der Summe 49 Sendungen jeden Montag ab 20.59 Uhr am Stück produziert. Getreu meinen Motto: Musik verbindet!

Geboren und aufgewachsen in Sankt Petersburg, Russland, hat Kirill Matveev bewiesen, dass er einer der raffiniertesten Künstler seines Landes ist. Sein Sound kann alle möglichen Stimmungen durchlaufen, was ihn ideal für das Aufwärmen einer Tanzfläche, frühe Afterhours und Ausbrüche zu Spitzenzeiten macht. Kirill hat eine sehr exquisite Art, musikalische Reisen zusammenzustellen. Sein Hauptaugenmerk liegt darauf, Edelsteine aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart zu präsentieren, um eine durchdringende Geschichte für den Zuhörer zu schaffen, die viel Raum zwischen den Klängen für eine bessere Wertschätzung lässt.

Kirill Matveev ist die Hauptfigur der eher unterirdischen Seite der elektronischen Musik von Ibiza Global Radio, der MixCult Radio Show Sektion. Born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Kirill Matveev has demonstrated to be one of the most refined artists in his country. His sound can go through every mood possible, making him ideal for warming up a dance floor, early afterhours and peak time outburst. Kirill has a very exquisite way of assembling musical journeys. His main focus is to present gems from both past and present to create a penetrating storyline for the listener, allowing abundant space between sounds for better appreciation.

His insightful vision and selection of electronic music has led him to achieve true magnetism with his audience emphasizing his versatility as both DJ and producer. His contribution as an artist start in the year 1997 yet held nowadays with bigger projects ahead.

Julia Löwenherz wurde 1989 geboren und wuchs in Baden-Württemberg bei Mosbach auf. Schon früh entwickelte sie eine Affinität zur Musik, welche sich schon während der Jugend in die elektronische Richtung neigte. 2015 zog sie nach Köln. Hier kam sie erstmals mit dem Radio 674.fm in Berührung und bekam erste reale Eindrücke davon, was es heißt aufzulegen.

Fasziniert und inspiriert von den Möglichkeiten eines DJs, entwickelte sie schnell Interesse daran, selbst aufzulegen, beziehungsweise das „Handwerk“ zu beherrschen und mit der Musik zu experimentieren und jonglieren, dadurch ein neues Kunstwerk zu schaffen bei dem das Ergebnis größer ist als die Summe seiner Teile, das Gefühle und Emotionen transportiert.

Bis zum ersten offiziellen Gig vergingen weitere lehrreiche 2 Jahre. Nach dem ersten Set bei der Drumbulanz/674.fm folgten weitere, unter anderen auch bei Tagedieb. Zeitgleich lernte sie den Radiosender Evosonic kennen und lieben. Durch eine glückliche Fügung bekam sie dort tiefere Einblicke in das Radio- und Musikbusiness. Mit wenig praktischer Erfahrung, aber dafür kürzlich erlerntem theoretischem Wissen, einer Vision und Idee und dem Verständnis für Technik, überzeugte sie 2020 den Boss himself: Chris Maico Schmidt. Im Herbst des Jahres ergab sich für Julia die Chance, zusammen mit Noah Levin, dreimal im Monat das Evopool-Update Weekend Edition zu hosten, welche sie ohne zu zögern ergriff und seitdem ihr Glück nicht fassen kann.

Julia Löwenherz was born in 1989 and raised near Mosbach in Baden-Württemberg. Early in her childhood she developed a strong affinity for music, which increasingly leaned towards electronic music during her adolescence. In 2015 she moved to Cologne. Here she first got in contact with the radiostation 674.fm and collected her first impressions about what it really means to mix records.

Fascinated and inspired by the possibilities of a DJ she quickly grew an interest in spinning records herself and mastering the craft. To experiment and juggle with music and thus form a completely new artwork, that is bigger than just the sum of its pieces. Something that transports feelings and emotions.

Two intense years of learning passed until her first official gig. After the first set at the Drumbulanz/674.fm more followed, among others at Tagedieb. During the same time she fell in love with the Evosonic radiostation. Through a lucky coincidence she got the chance to dive deeper into the radio- and musicbusiness. With little practical experience but plenty of newly aquired theoretical knowledge and a vision and idea besides a good understanding for technology, she convinced the boss in 2020: Chris Maico Schmidt himself. The following autumn she got the chance to host the Evopool-Update Weekend Edition for three times a month, together with Noah Levin. Which she decisively embraced and ever since can’t believe her fortune.

Der eklektische Stil und Sound des belgischen DJs und Produzenten Pat Lezizmo ist eine Reise durch Deep-, Tech- und Minimal-Elemente der House-Musik mit Einflüssen aus dem frühen Jungle und Rave sowie Funk, Soul und Hip-Hop. Pat veröffentlichte zunächst eine Original-EP für Neglected Grooves und danach auf Smooth Agent, Midi Mood, Groovetraxx und wurde ein festes Familienmitglied von Henri Kohns Imprint Conya Records, wo er 2013 sein Debütalbum “At The End” veröffentlichte. Sein wachsender Ruf hat dazu geführt, dass er eine Diskografie mit Kollaborationen und Remixen mit Künstlern wie Leach, Le Babar, Bruno From Ibiza, Henri Kohn, Henri Josh und Miss Ann-P aufgebaut hat.

Im Rahmen des “At The End”-Albumprojekts reiste Pat Lezizmo durch Europa, um Sounds und Erfahrungen zu sammeln, wobei die House-Musik im Vordergrund seiner Reise stand. Auf Ibiza, in London, Berlin, San Sebastian und Tarifa konnte er seine Leidenschaft, seine Vorstellungskraft und sein Verständnis von echter Underground-Musik unter Beweis stellen, indem er einen Sound schuf, der für House-Liebhaber zum Genießen gedacht ist.

The eclectic style and sound of Belgian DJ & Producer Pat Lezizmo journeys through Deep, Tech and Minimal elements of House music drawing influences from early jungle and rave as well as funk, soul and hip-hop. Pat first put out an original EP for Neglected Grooves and has subsequently released on Smooth Agent, Midi Mood, Groovetraxx and has become a firm family member of Henri Kohn’s imprint Conya Records releasing his debut album ‘At The End’ in 2013. Christian Grade (vorher Gerzee) ist auch als Soulhunter bekannt – langjähriger Dangerous Drums Resident und verantwortlich für 5 Veröffentlichungen auf dem gleichnamigen Label.

Christian Grade ist im Osten Berlins geboren und aufgewachsen. Seit seiner Teenagerzeit wuchs sein Interesse an elektronischer Musik und im Alter von 17 Jahren kaufte er sich sein erstes Paar Plattenspieler und fing an, Platten aufzulegen und zu sammeln.

Bald darauf hatte er seine ersten Gigs in seiner Heimatstadt und deren Umland. Er begann mit dem Auflegen von House-Platten, doch nach einiger Zeit kam er über Elektro und Two-Step zu Breakbeats und kreierte seinen eigenen Stil. Im Jahr 2001 hatte Soulhunter seinen ersten Auftritt in Berlin, gefolgt von vielen weiteren Gigs, bei denen er auf Partys wie Dangerous Drums, C21 und Break The Law spielte.

Von 2003 bis 2007 war Soulhunter Resident im Delicious Doughnuts in Berlin. Soulhunter war aber auch Resident auf einer der best laufenden Breakbeat Partys in Süddeutschland namens Lucky Break in Stuttgart und im Berliner Ruderclub Mitte, wo er eine monatliche Breaks-Veranstaltung namens Urban Breaks leitete.

Christian Grade spielt eine Mischung aus Deep House, Tech House und Techno mit einem Hauch von Oldschool.
Aktuell kann man seine Sets regelmäßig bei Zu Mir Oder Zu Dir oder Süss War Gestern hören und tanzen.

Christian Grade ist Resident bei den legendären Dangerous Drums Parties im Tresor und seit 2013 Labelmanager bei Dangerous Drums.

Seit 2019 ist Christian ein Kernteam-Mitglied von Zug der Liebe in Berlin.

Christian Grade (previously Gerzee) is also known as Soulhunter – longtime Dangerous Drums resident and responsible for 5 releases on the eponymous label.

Christian Grade was born and raised in the east of Berlin. Since his teenage years his interest in electronic music grew and at the age of 17 he bought his first pair of turntables and started spinning and collecting records.

Soon after he had his first gigs in his home town and around it. He started with spinning house records but after some time he came via electro and two step to breakbeats and created his own style. In the year 2001 Soulhunter had his first Berlin gig, followed by a lot more gigs, playing at parties like Dangerous Drums, C21 and Break The Law.

From 2003 to 2007 Soulhunter was resident at Delicious Doughnuts in Berlin. Soulhunter was although resident at one of the best running Breakbeat Parties in southern Germany called Lucky Break in Stuttgart and at the Berlin based Ruderclub Mitte where he was running a monthly Breaks event called Urban Breaks.

Christian Grade plays a mix of deep house, tech house and techno with a touch of oldschool.
Actually you can listen and dance to his sets at Zu Mir Oder Zu Dir or Süss War Gestern on a regular basis.

Christian Grade is resident at the legendary Dangerous Drums Parties at Tresor and since 2013 label manager at Dangerous Drums.

Since 2019 Christian is a core team member of Zug der Liebe in Berlin.

Lebensphasen Backspin

1ofthe2 the Prophet Radio Man (heute sagt er: es kommt noch schlimmer) lebt zurzeit wieder Dr´Hoim, und arbeitet nach 40 Jahren Diaspora an der Verwirklichung seine Bestimmung. Handelte bis 2016 als selbstständiger Trader einen kleinen privaten Fond mit Future an der CME/ Chicago und der EUREX / Frankfurt. Befand sich in der Höhle des Bösen als kleiner Parasit und dachte immer schlimmer kommt nimmer. 2012 beginnen Sabbatjahre im Ausland und er erlernt Shaolin Qi Gong als Schüler von Großmeister Shi Yan Liang Abt von Europa und darf nun mit Abschluss und Siegel des Abtes selbst unterrichten und unterrichtet auf Anfrage. Aufgrund eines schweren Unfalls sowie der Subprime Finanzkrise 2008 wird das vorige Leben in Frage gestellt und radikal neu sortiert. Er war zuvor als Versicherungsfachmann/ Versicherungsmakler tätig, vorwiegend im Bereich Kranken -und Lebens Versicherung. Gründet 1999 mit weiteren DJs und Musikschaffenden das erste deutsche DJ MP3 Label deejay24.com. Ziel war es über eine große DJ Community (1000) die Wertschöpfungskette innerhalb der Musikbranche zu optimieren. Davor 7 Jahre A&R / PM für das Management “Die Fantastischen Vier“ / Bär Music Factory Stuttgart. Betreuung von Das Modul, God´s Groove, The Free, Jule Neigel und weiteren erfolgreichen und gescheiterten Bands. Befand sich in der Höhle des Bären und dachte immer es geht so weiter und weiter und weiter.

Resident DJ im AT Musik Podium Stuttgart, der Jazz Club von SWR3 und Konsorten. Musik – und Programmgestalter inklusive Bandbetreuung u.a. für Peter Herbolzheimer und sonstigen Big und Bands. Weitere 7 Jahre tätig als Resident DJ in und um Stuttgart herum, trifft DJ Mike S. (Chris Maico Schmidt) und später auch DJ Bär (Andreas Läsker). Beide bringen aktuellen Dance Sound in den Club und nutzen das AT als Karriere Sprungbrett :). Außerdem lernen Sie, was es bedeutet nach 24 Uhr auch richtige Musik aufzulegen :). Spielt als Drummer in einer Band namens Lizerunt. Während dieser Zeit absolviert er bei der Evangelisch-Methodistischen Freikirche ein Praktikum zum Pastor. Wird als Sohn eines Kaufmanns und Big Band Drummers geboren. Count Basie, Glenn Miller sind die Paten:) Hat 4 Geschwister, davon 3 Mädels und dachte schon mit jungen Jahren: Schlimmer kommt nimmer.

Biografie (english below)

Sein Leben ist Musik und er lebt für die Musik. Jeder einzelne Ton ein Stück seines Lebens. Denn man kann den Ton zwar auf eine Platte pressen oder auf ein Downloadportal stellen, aber man kann die Emotion bei jeder Note nicht speichern, höchstens die Erinnerung daran. Seit dem er denken kann, dreht sich in seinem Leben alles um die Musik. Er lernte schon früh Gitarre spielen. Später kam noch Klavier hinzu.

In seiner Jugendzeit gründete er eine Punk-Rock-Band, in der er anfangs noch Gitarre spielte, später jedoch (Weil sich niemand anderes fand) zum Gesang gewechselt ist. Aus der Punk-Rock-Band wurde eine Cover-Rock-Band und er absolvierte drei Jahre klassische Gesangsausbildung.

Musikalisch gibt es für ihn keine Grenzen. Er interessiert sich für alles, was mit Musik zu tun hat. So lernte er Dudelsack spielen und sammelt für sein Leben gerne Instrumente. Sein Motto: Er muss aus jedem Instrument wenigstens ein Lied herausbekommen.

His life is music and he lives for music. Every single note is a piece of his life. Because you can press the sound on a record or put it on a download portal, but you can’t save the emotion of each note, at most the memory of it. Ever since he can remember, everything in his life has revolved around music. He learned to play the guitar at an early age. Later he added the piano.

In his youth he founded a punk rock band, in which he initially played guitar, but later (because no one else could be found) switched to singing. The punk rock band became a cover rock band and he completed three years of classical vocal training.

Musically, there are no limits for him. He is interested in everything that has to do with music. He learned to play the bagpipes and loves collecting instruments. His motto: He has to get at least one song out of every instrument.
